40 min waiting for food. Special was fried or grilled shrimp with 2 sides. We also ordered the 8oz sirloin steak, which comes with salad and 1 side. Shrimp was tiny but tasty. The steak was a little overcooked, but tender, and texas toast was good. Looks like it was an old bank building with tin ceilings. Not too bad a price.

Enjoyed this stop for lunch while traveling through town on our way to Dallas for the weekend. Great family atmosphere for lunch with diverse patrons from retired couples, white and blue collar workers, and families. Friday fish special was delicious as was the pulled pork bbq. Fresh cut fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies were also especially delicious. Friendly service rounded out a great place to stop and have lunch. Highly recommend!

Great service! Our 5 year old grandson wanted pancakes even though we were past the breakfast hour. Our waitress went to the kitchen and they prepared him two big pancakes and bacon. The rest of us had chicken fried steak, the club sandwich, the grilled chicken, and a big salad. This is our third or fourth time to eat here and it is always good and very satisfying.

I should have done this review 18 months ago. We had our tiny wedding at the First Baptist church right around the corner on January 22, 2022. We chose Jackson’s per my daughter-in-love Kandra Dodd. I’m so glad we did. I loved it and everyone else did too. Our bill for approximately 25 people was very affordable. We had the best waitresses who went above and beyond to make our day special. We may never go to Reba’s because we just automatically park and get out at Jackson’s. We love you Kackson family.♥️♥️♥️Rick and Phyllis Wallace

Service was a bit slow,i understand because it’s cooked by order.You could tell it’s fresh.Food was good.The mashed potatoe and beans were very good.My shrimp was a lil salty but pork chops was good.Everything came fresh. Patience is the key here.

We tried to eat at Reba’s but it was 3 1/2 hour wait. Went over to Jackson and waited an hour. The food was cold. Husband ordered a BLT and they put a 1/2 piece on small bacon on both sides. Told the red headed waitress she got very mad and upset at us. Ordered piece of pie never got it. Never going back.

Went to Reba’s and didn’t want to wait 45 mins so stopped in here. Wish we hadn’t. Got the fish special and it was extremely salty, the beans were cold and there were maybe 10 French fries, hush puppies were decent at best. Hubby ordered hamburger steak and his whole plate was cold. Took forever to get a waitress’s attention. He’s very laid back and easy to please but asked her to microwave it to warm it up. Maybe just a busy day.
