Food looks great simple sauce are great bring out each dish. But flavor over all need more in each dish. Cocktail on point. Service was good. The mushrooms dish only one thing we had had best flavor.

Service was great, but food was not my favorite. Nice place to try once but not a go-to restaurant. The food was a little salty and didn’t wow me. The red wine and yuzu dessert were good. A little pricey

This place is cozy. We made a reservation and came on time. The host told us that we have to wait because our table is not ready. After all, “other guests are finishing their dessert.” No problem with that. We were waiting approximately 15 minutes, and finally, our table was ready. No one left the restaurant, then I have a question “who was finishing the dessert? And why we were waiting for 15 minutes?” Since this place is small and there is only one exit you can see everyone who is leaving this place.

I am not an avid seafood eater but I think this might be one of the most unique meals I’ve ever had – in a good way. I think if they had their menu on display for passersby, it might encourage more foot traffic during peak dining hours, cause this place was empty at 6pm on a Saturday night and it doesn’t deserve to be.

If you are sleeping on Ivory peal, then you are making a mistake. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were top tier! The service was great, especially Jeff who shucked our oysters and explained our entire meal!

I’ve been to Ivory Pearl twice: once for dinner and once for drinks after dinner, a couple days ago. First, the food is disgusting. For as gorgeous as it is, everything just tasted like the inside of my mouth but fishy. Nothing tasted pleasant and I typically love raw food, caviar, etc. It was insanely expensive and honestly just gross.

Seriously delicious and inventive seafood you really won’t find elsewhere in Boston/Brookline. This hidden gem is worth the trek! The reviews of people saying “too little food for the price” must be used to eating at cheese cake factory because we left completely full and satisfied as we shared dishes between 3 people. However, this wasn’t our first time at a non-chain restaurant, and we knew to ask our server how many dishes she recommended we order under small/large for the amount of people and our hunger level.

Ok. This place is slightly on the expensive side, but absolutely worth every penny. The dishes are unique and flawlessly executed. Maybe the best food I have eaten in the Boston area. And finally something I could not just make at home with a bit of effort. Would recommend going here!!! One thing though: The restaurant serves mostly small plates and some bigger plates, but the portion sizes of the dishes are not well explained on the menu.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in the Boston area. We got the fries with caviar mayo (amazing) and then the Squid Ink Pappardelle with Octopus (more amazing). The cocktails didn’t disappoint either. I had a Pimm’s Cup and my girlfriend had this delicious drink with bell pepper in it. We’ll definitely be going back to try the Octopus Hotdog.
