Mia was an awesome waitress.
We are from Greensboro area and have been missing HWY 55 since 2019. One in Winston closed down and the one in Indian trail by Charlotte closed and I believe the one in Greensboro to. So when we see there was one while traveling through Dunn we had to stop. We came for lunch two days ago and then for dinner on our way out of town. I hope if we get a chance to pass by again you guys are still around.

One of the BEST bacon cheeseburgers I’ve ever had Highly recommend this location, decor doesn’t match the food quality (looking forward to the new location down the road). Service was top notch, fast and friendly. Chicken tenders also perfectly cooked. Sampled the ice cream of the day, cookies and cream. Chocolate froyo was also excellent.

Stopped here on a little lunch detour from myrtle beach back to NY and it was perfect! Food came out so quick, our server was so sweet, and everything was delicious. If I lived in the area I would most definitely be a regular at this cute little hole in the wall burger joint. Only regret was not trying one of their milkshakes!

The grilled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich was heaven!! I went there just before closing… they didn’t disappoint! The prices are very reasonable. Go here versus the MacDonalds around the corner!

Very friendly and fast! They offered to give my kids the color car desired and the speed in which the food came out was fantastic! My youngest has autism and we have a hard time waiting. Now the fries were more greasy than I expected and the hot dog contains red dye, but the atmosphere and staff make up for it.

Don’t go here. Not only did they screw up our dinner order, but we ended up having multiple pieces of Styrofoam in an ice cream! What if I was feeding this to an infant…they could choke!!!! The waitress, who was sweet, was nonchalant and offered us another ice cream. We had to pay for the entire order and was not reimbursed whatsoever. Nightmare.

Well the staff was A+. They opened the door for me, seated and took my order in less then 5 minutes. The food came super quick after that. It was hot and delicious. Hwy 55 has always had good tasting food even when it had that other name. What was it? Restaurant was clean. I was one of 3 when I walked in but the place filled up quick. The staff remained attentive and service ready. Not much more I can say to try to show that the gist was super great. I paid my bill and that same nice employee opened the door and wished me a good evening. No pictures, looks just like the one in your town.

Well….last month was great, today not so much. Booth 4 was the forgotten table for tonight. Not really sure who our waitress was. Two different people came and it was few and far between. I think the lady that was actually supposed to be the server, well she never came at all. Finally flagged down another waiter that brought us our check and refilled our beverages. Pretty disappointing service. Food was good, so that’s where the 2 stars comes in. I’m not sure what the difference in black shirt and red shirt waitress and waiters are but the red shirts were crushing it with their customers, Black shirts didn’t do much at all. Cooks were getting it done. Manager, you should tell these young employees to get to work or kick rocks. If the red shirts pull all the weight you might as well give them the raises since they’re already doing all the work.

Last week was good. But today I asked for something unseasoned, the older cook seemed to have a problem with it and still seasoned it. I told the guy who brought it out to take it back. They also only made half the table food the babies fries last it took another 30 mins to get the babies fries and a shrimp salad wen the other half were done eating. Waitress and one of the younger cooks were very nice though. I think the whole table should be served at same time.
