Food at Brizo was above expectations. The ceviche was delicious and flavorful. It reminded me of the ceviche we had in Costa Rica with the passion fruit flavor. We ordered a second serving because it was that good. Fish tacos were amazing and I keep thinking of when I return to hopefully get some more at a future date. Everyone in our party enjoyed their cocktails. Amazing desert which we shared because we all ate so much. Our waiter made a great suggestion on dessert. Excellent Service as expected and our waiter was knowledgeable on the menu items, although he should have recommended more tortillas for our ceviche. There were five of us and we got 4 tortillas. Great ambiance as well on a sunny day given you have a view of the Marina which complements the entire experience. There are also great indoor seating since the restaurant is part of the Marriott brand. We will definitely revisit Brizo when in the Santa Monica.

Great outdoor seating with a great view of the Marina. The service was great and we especially loved that we could bring our pup! We had vegan lettuce wraps & their tacos (one of each) I think my husband’s fav was the braised beef.

We stayed a few days at the courtyard Marriott and where a few evenings sitting and getting together with friends at the Brizo bar & restaurant that are just behind the hotel lobby. What can I say, the staff where always friendly and professional. The food we ordered where great and ever tastet good the cocktails where yummy as well. The view over the marina are wonderful, unfortunately this time we had a lot of rain ️ but I will definitely come back and stay here in the summer months

The picture shows the amazing view of the marina. Brizo Bar and Restaurant is through the lobby of the hotel. Outside seating is the way to go here with the beautiful view and Harbor breezes. Very pet friendly atmosphere. Food is amazing. I had the Connecticut style lobster roll (must request this specifically) and clam chowder. I was disappointed that they dropped the calamari from the menu. Garlic fries were tasty but better options are available. At $5.00 per scoop they should use a better quality of ice cream. Mine was not creamy at all. Service was slow but not due to staffing. I was told the kitchen is not close to the patio area???

Update; 5***** We’re back in Playa de Rey and it was must to back to Brizo Bar & Restaurant to see what new delicious new dishes that Chef Chris has on the menu and he did disappoint at all. I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich and it was soooooo good the flavors were so good and the tuna was cooked perfect! My wife and son in law had the Yellowtail Poke Bowl one with mixed greens and the other rice. I had a taste of each one and lived then both just the right amount of spice so delicious! Yummy. My daughter had the seafood Cobb salad with so many great pieces of seafood and they weren’t skimpy out at all but the cherry vinaigrette dressing over the mixed greens. With added blue cheese and feta made it that much better. We also had a couple orders of the honey cake which is made in house and it’s so so good. You won’t be disappointed on Chef Chris’s new dishes. Can’t wait to get back to try some of the others. So if you’re in the area, stop by. Have some lunch or dinner outside of the deck next to the boats and docks and enjoy the day. Cheers, you got to give them a try! 5 STARS*****
