This is the ultimate mom and pop establishment. The place has maybe five tables for dine-in at best. It might not be the place for the romantic date. However, it has great food at a fair price. If you are game for carry out, this is the place. I’d recommend the hamburger steak plate with veggies.

Definitely not made to order. I paid $25 to receive reheated food or I’m assuming they reheated it because I got it cold. Don’t know if they just moved in or moving out with all the boxes and equipment all over the place. Dead eyed gentlemen that walked out from the back didn’t seem crazy to see a customer. Lady that brought me my food was nice. This food taste old, a regrettable visit.

I was really excited to try this place. Bought from the food truck a bowl which comes with 1 meat and 2 sides. I got the teriyaki chicken, Mac and rice. Then I ordered my husband the plate which comes with 1 meat and 2 sides as well, but apparently just comes with more chicken. The girl who took the order was nice. The food came out relatively quick. But when we opened our lids we were surprised to see carrots and peas in the Mac salad. We both assumed it would be the typical Mac salad you get at other Hawaiian restaurants. We both still tried it and did not like it. Moving on to the rice it was like instant rice it wasn’t sticky like typically get other places either. The only thing that taste good was the chicken. Last thing to mention was price point to portion size… too much money, too little food. Will stick to other Hawaiian restaurants from now on.

UPDATE: we ordered takeout today and this place is still amazing. They have the best Mac salad and teriyaki beef!

I’ve been coming to this place since it opened. First of all I love the Loco Moco. It reminds me of back home.

We were excited to try this because of their great reviews, but it wasn’t up to snuff.

You need to check out this chill, lovely, food joint. Customer service was greater than 5/5! Food is delicious! And quite healthy if I say so myself. (I probably didn’t take the best picture, but food tasted fresh, juicy, flavorful & it was a good sized portion!)

I haven’t had Hawaiian barbecue much before, but this has now become our place for Hawaiian food. My wife and I got two plates – one of teriyaki chicken and one of Hawaiian pork. The teriyaki chicken was sweet and tangy, and the Hawaiian pork was tender and had great flavor. To finish it all off we tried the guava cake which was fruity and soft.
