I told her that is why I had it delivered I do not feel well. I then asked to speak to the manager that stated he would replace the food but not give me a refund. I do understand I can see if I ate the steak I need to pay for it, but since I cannot eat it I should be refunded. He lied and said you should have said you don’t want mushrooms in the entrée instead of the rice. First of all I had been going to this location for years and they don’t even have mushrooms in their fried rice. His name was Tommy and I told him I was calling my bank for a refund and they would certainly be getting the food back I could not eat. Horrible customer service and manager. Also the portions for 45 dollars are dreadful. If you enlarge the pictures you can see grease bubbles in the vegetables. They do it right when dining in but do NOT order to go.
The service is great!!
Music and environment is nice and relaxing.
Yaya is our waitress she is the best and always remembers our order.
It’s always full of people here so we usually dine in without live show. But overall my family loves coming here to eat. We recommend the crispy sushi rolls and chicken and steak fried rice hibachi.
It was early afternoon, before the crowd arrived. We were seated promptly (all your party has to be here or they won’t seat you, 3 of us arrived and the 4th was not here yet and we had to wait). We were the only ones in the hibachi area at this time. We were attended to right away, drink order taken and menus given. We all placed our orders. The drinks arrived, then our 1st course, the salad and the soup. The salad was pretty small, as was the soup. They were decent, nothing special. Then the host showed up with our food. The “show” was entertaining, he was sociable and funny. Then he served us. I ordered steak and snapper. The steak was cooked medium like I asked, the snapper wasnt bad but wasn’t what I expected and it was a smaller portion than I hoped. Wife ordered shrimp and chicken. She says the shrimp were chewy, a little overdone. Stepson said his calamari had no flavor but said the lobster was awesome. We all agreed the vegetables and fried rice were a little on the salty side. Had we known they would have came out that way, we would have told him easy on the sodium but we just let him do his thing while cooking.
All in all, the food was decent, not bad but it didn’t match the price. I understand part of the pricing is the show so we took that into account, you pay for the “experience”. Maybe one day we’ll come back and try the sushi.
I am beyond disappointed with my recent visit to Hibachi Teppanyaki & Sushi in Burleson. What should have been a fun dinner turned into a completely uncomfortable and frustrating experience due to the chef’s behavior and the management’s lack of integrity.
The service was lackluster from the start, but the real issue was the chef’s behavior. He was visibly agitated, rude, and acted as if we were an inconvenience. When we reached out to management to address the chef’s conduct, the situation went from bad to worse.
Instead of listening to our concerns, the management was incredibly dismissive. We were left with the distinct impression that our request for assistance was being viewed as an attempt to get a “comped” meal. That couldn’t have been further from the truth—we weren’t looking for a handout; we were looking for a respectful dining experience and for someone to take accountability for a staff member’s poor attitude.
Being treated like a “problem customer” simply for pointing out unprofessionalism is insulting. It’s clear this establishment prioritizes their ego over customer service. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values your patronage.
