Been going to Grandy’s since I was a kid, but today is the last time I’ll eat here. I understand that the food sits under heat lamps, but every single thing I had (meatloaf, baked beans, okra) was cold. Then the flys! I spent more time fighting the flys off then actually eating. My wife stopped eating when the flys began to ignore her and land on her corn. I mean it’s a restaurant. What restaurant has this many flys on it? The time for Grandy’s has passed. It’s time to let it go, move on or improve your food.

Ordered catfish plate didn’t get Tartar sauce. Ordered meatloaf and smallest portion ever for the price. Ordered 6 rolls and no butter or honey. All dishes said they came with the accompaniments but none came. Called and asked to speak with a Manager and person who answered tells manager “probably calling to complain about something.” So sad since I really use to enjoy this place. I was not upset till I heard what the person who answered said. I was just going to tell them to please make sure their orders are complete. When I told the manager he didn’t even apologize or say anything about what the employee had said. I will never go back. Grandys, you lost a long time customer!!

Hadn’t been to this place in years and decided to bring my family for the first time. We ordered the 30 piece chicken tenders family meal with 3 LG sides, mash potatoes, beans, and corn. When we arrived it wasn’t very busy, but the chicken trays on the line were empty and the employees were busy filling orders from the drive thru. We were ignored pretty much for a good 10 minutes standing at the counter. Finally an employee says we will be with you shortly and we waited another 10 minutes. They call us take our order and we waited 20 minutes for the order wich they said they would bring to us. I sent one of my sons to check on the order it was sitting on counter. When we tasted our food there was no salt or flavor in the mash potatoes or the chicken, we drenched the chicken in Frank’s sauce and salted our potatoes. Oh and when we ordered they told us the soda machine was out of order we had to drink tea. We payed 60$ for everything and it was pretty bad. Not going back. I don’t remember it being this bad back in the day.

Wow! So shocked!! I haven’t eaten at Grandy’s in forever because it’s so far from my house and tonight I decided to drive about 40 minutes out of my way for some “delicious” chicken. Boy was I WRONG! I asked for fresh chicken (maybe I was punished for that) so that the chicken could be semi hot by the time I got home. I paid 36 dollars for 10 pieces of chicken, 2 LG Mashed potatoes, and 8 rolls. First, there was HAIR in my food!!! Yuck!! The pieces are super small now and the pieces looked almost burned. I’m thinking they just dumped some older chicken in the fryers and made me wait almost 30 minutes for it! Shame on them!!! I mean all outside food tastes terrible these days, but this is just careless, terrible service, over priced food! The rolls don’t taste like they did before nor the potatoes…very bland, no flavor, dry, hard… Just terrible!
