It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. Ordering took forever in drive thru, made me park in the parking lot after paying. Everyone else behind me got their food first, I only had two combos. Rude workers. Don’t even say hello or look happy to be here. Didn’t give a receipt. On top of that a hair in my drink.. Zero stars. Didn’t receive my ketchup or ranch that I paid for smh on piece of bacon on my burger..

It is a waste of time to order through the app. On two separate occasions I had to go in to get my order after waiting a considerable amount of time in the curbside pickup. No one apologized or even acknowledged the inconvenience of what happened. Love What-A-Burger but not this one!

I have never written a review for anything but this was so unbelievably bad it motivated me to do so. The fries tasted super old and weirdly sweet, the burger was so ugly and unappetizing but as a retail worker on lunch I ate it (Only the burger, fries were straight up inedible and this is coming from a mcdonalds fries fan). I honestly shouldve asked for a refund but I have such limited time to be out and eat All i wanted was a nice meal. The workers were okay they all seemed super busy yet there was hardly a line, no wonder. Just fire all of them at this point its so pathetic, Westworth village has the best Whataburger I shouldve never betrayed them

Don’t get this review wrong first off I understand they are busy location at times and staff was decent but Wow nothing to expect from a Texas favorite!!! This burger was definitely cold and had frozen ice center, I tried eating around the cold part giving the benefit of the doubt thinking I was just over thinking till I actually looked at it before completely eating it this thing was raw!!!! And definitely not up to code…. Honestly i would have rather used my money for food that won’t make me sick BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT YOU EAT AT THIS LOCATION !!! nobody has reached out or said anything about this to me yet but I hope y’all are safe

Service was great and the people were friendly but I’m beyond offended at this burger. They really tore half of a patty and put it on half of the sandwich! WTH?! This was my redemption for the last time I went to one and they put gobs of mustard on my sandwich. I don’t think I’ll ever be back to another what a burger again. The patty was ungodly thin and not even there! Barely any lettuce, the cheese wasn’t even melted onto the patty, like come on stop being lazy!! Not happy. The milkshake and fries were good though but the burgers no. Spend all that money and don’t even get food after I worked a 12 hour shift and was starving!

This location has been remodeled, and it’s absolutely disgusting ! The buns were steal, the meat tasted old, and the veggies were brown. In the pictures you can also see that the grease they are cooking in is OLD❗️We didn’t enjoy our food at all. We also noticed there was food on the kitchen floor, and this place truly needs a visit from the owner, to get things in order. The customer service is careless, and this is the MOST frustrating and disappointing thing we noticed. They do wear blue gloves for protection, and I do understand that. The problem is, they touch those same gloves with the food, when taking orders, exchanging money, opening doors, giving customers their cups, wiping the counters, etc. That is so unsanitary, and can you imagine all the germs that they are spreading ⁉️⚠️ We definitely won’t be back here, Westworth Village is so much better in food taste, customer service, and overall cleanliness.

I go to this location regularly, and the staff is awesome and friendly. I always get great food. Every once in a while, I will get older fries mixed in with the fresh ones, but they are still edible. My only real complaint is that the bathroom has a code to get in. They are quick to respond, though. Usually, when I show up, Cary is at the register and he is always super friendly. This guy needs a promotion.

Horrible service. Was in drive thru for 10 mins….missed breakfast because of how slow they were and they didn’t even give me and honor even though it was 11am on the dot…and then gave me attitude….and the second order they didn’t even knew what drinks I had or anything…..this is not above and beyond service…this is basic service…all I ask. Will not be going back or any other whataburgers cause of your service.

I ordered ahead while on my way so I could be out faster than the drive thru. My curbside delivery time lapsed, and I waited an additional 5 minutes before going inside where a cashier was taking orders. As I did, one employee I had seen talking with guests in the dining room as I pulled up, went into the kitchen. A third employee slowly excited the bathroom wearing his jeans improperly fitted. The only reason I paid that any attention was because he slowly reached into his front pocket, and pulled out food handling disposable gloves, then proceeded to slowly put them on in full view of other employees as he slowly made his way behind the counter. Then the dining room employee emerged with my order. I took it and left, stunned at the young man’s choices, but feeling certain he hadn’t prepared my order. Now, I know the Lake Worth and Blue Mound locations have slow service, to the point where I know I may have to remind them it’s sitting on the counter, but the disregard for basic food handling hygiene has made last night my last visit to Lake Worth.

Literally just got home this transaction happened around 12:14 AM. I ordered 3 number 12s, 3 chicken sandwiches JUST the sandwiches not the meals, just to go home and see this crap! Just the chicken??? Like what? I paid over $20 for this? ( 2 sides of fries included) this is the last time I come to this location.
