Gott’s Roadside was founded in 1999 in Saint Helena by brothers Joel and Duncan Gott. Gott’s California-inspired dishes and seasonal specials use locally sourced ingredients and purveyors such as Niman Ranch beef, Zoe’s bacon, Panorama Bakery breads, and Osprey Seafood. Gott’s modern approach to American roadside classics has something for everyone including dishes like the California Burger with a fried egg, Zoe’s bacon, and balsamic onions, Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos with sushi grade Ahi tuna, a Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with turmeric and harissa mayo, Chicken Kale Caesar, and hand-spun organic shakes.

Inventive burgers & more, plus beer & wine offered at a chill, self-serve joint with picnic tables.

Listen, hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Cali burger…I usually get a lettuce wrap but this was my first time so had to go with the bun. Meat was seasoned toppings didn’t fall off, lettuce was crisp bun was warm and firm. Garlic fries were oily but still amazing.

Classic diner vibes with an elevated menu. It’s counter service and they give you a buzzer. The food was excellent. I had the Texas Avocado Burger and it was cooked a perfect medium. The cheesy fries were so good. The cheese sauce is so flavorful. Of course we had wine!

Gott’s has excellent burgers and sides. The food also comes out quick given how busy the place is. Would definitely go back here the next time I visit Napa.

Doing an impromptu Napa tour with my cousin’s wife, my cousin and my wife on memorial weekend… We started late so we got to Napa around 2:00. Decided to hit Gotts! I’ve never been here before, but I heard quite a bit about this place. The weather felt more like San Francisco than Napa Valley, but let’s talk about the hamburgers!

This eatery has a casual vibe and everything is reasonably priced. I would recommend the California chicken sandwich as it was stacked with flavors! The cola float was surprisingly light and creamy.

Gott’s hands down makes the best burgers in Napa and definitely makes one of the best burgers in the entire Bay Area and Northern California. The burgers and shakes are absolutely delicious. 4/5

I only ordered one Mexican street corn to go. I saw people that were in line behind me come and order and leave with their order in the time that it took for me to receive mine. I waited about 25 minutes for that piece of corn to get to me. I haven’t even tasted it because I was so annoyed about it all. I can’t say if it’s good. I’ve been before and the food has always been great today I’m just reviewing the wait time.

This iconic restaurant has been in the valley for decades. As a former Napa resident revisiting this lovely area, Gott’s HAD to be our first stop. Conveniently located at Oxbow Market and close to our Airbnb, we each grabbed a burger, garlic fries and wine to commence our week-long stay. Perfectly prepared and hot off the grill. Even the garlic fries were so fresh and hot. We will definitely stop again before leaving. Gott’s is a Napa favorite!
