I’m staying at the Omni for work, so I ventured down to the restaurant, and it was an excellent choice! The bartender, Ken, is very attentive and accommodating. And he’s pretty entertaining!

We visited The Glass Pavilion Restaurant on 7-30-23. We were so impressed by the spread for breakfast and endless choices on the buffet. The pastries were amazing! Johnny De La Rosa was extra helpful to us – an exceptional, gracious host. All the wait staff and helpers were also so kind and accommodating to us all. They were so well mannered and willing to help us with anything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely be coming back to experience this delicious breakfast/brunch once again!

This was a heavenly experience! I had breakfast overlooking the palm trees and water the music was perfectly paired to the atmosphere, the service was on point and the food was delicious, fresh, and still affordable! I went back for dinner and ordered a filet medium rare, and although it came out medium well, it was still the softest juiciest steak I’ve ever had! The was the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had.

Always forget about this place, but it’s perfect for lunchtime. I get bored with the same places to go out to eat while working downtown. It’s open to public, not just hotel guests. I went a couple of times recently. My favorites are the chicken sandwich, mushroom sandwich and the club. All delicious and filling! Reasonably priced as any where else downtown during lunch.

For the first time experience at the Glass Pavilion. I was already having uncomfortable vibes. Upon arrival to the restaurant entrance there was an employee seated having a serious conversation on his phone. Once at the hostess desk and it stated “Please wait to be seated” we had a reservation through OpenTable. We waited for 5 minutes until the hostess assisted us. She was pretty unprofessional…the polite way of saying it. Then we’re told they’re closing in 40 minutes and the all I can eat will shut down shortly. For the price of all you can eat at $23 and 3 persons. Not wanting scraps nor having the hard working kitchen staff have to cook after all, they were closing soon. I’m not that type of person when someone is ready to go home after working and expect them to go beyond for 3 people. We decided to head to another breakfast/brunch spot. Chops and Eggs

I will start off by saying my wife and I did not eat lunch/dinner here, but did have breakfast two days in a row while staying at the Omni – so this review is based solely off of our breakfast experience. Day one – I opted for the breakfast buffet which if you’re not sure what to order , this would be your go-to choice. Endless amounts of bacon, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, meat and cheese trays, chobani yogurts, a bread/bagel/pastry section, dry cereals, you get the point. I had a little of everything and was STUFFED. The breakfast buffet included an omelette bar and a fresh made waffle bar – which I also indulged in. The wife had the French toast which is phenomenal if you like a sweeter breakfast. Brioche bread French toast style, berries and cream, syrup ,sweet and delectable and buttery. One the best French toast dishes I’ve ever had.

The food was the BEST here in Corpus Christi! Our waiters Victoria and Michael were polite and had an acknowledgment of the menu to give awesome recommendations. 10/10 recommend if staying at Omni. Also I recommend if you have kids doing the brunch to save money. Reasonably priced for the area.

The breakfast buffet is literally the worst I’ve ever had. Not sure how you can mess up scrambled egg, but they succeeded! They were horrible, gravy was a weird sweet taste and watery…. never again!

This place is pricy but nice for a splurge on a dinner with a view of the ocean. You can call to make reservations for dinner and can request a table with a view of the ocean. They bring a complimentary hot loaf of bread with house made honey butter. We had the beer steamed mussels and the crab Mac and cheese. The crab Mac and cheese was packed with crab and delicious larger chunks of bacon. Overall it was a very large serving that more than satisfied our hunger. We even had to take some in a to go box. The mussels came with Texas toast and were in a delicious tomato-based broth. We got a bottle of wine that was $28 on the cheaper end of what they offer (maybe the cheapest). Our waitress was very nice and attentive our entire stay. This restaurant on the second floor of the Omni Hotel. Valet parking is complementary when dining here which was nice and convenient. Beware taking the highway here, there is a lot of construction right now and Google Maps was not up to date. If you can, avoid the highways when traveling here.

The food was decent eventually after several tries. The price is definitely very high for the very bad service they provide. The wait time to get seated, wait time to get food and then they bring a “medium” filet mignon well done, who does that!? So add more additional wait time. The server was MIA other than when the plates came out. Over all from when we got there to when we got our plates it was 1hr to 1.5hrs
