Fuji Mountain has become one of our Favorite Restaurants here in Monument Colorado. They are great for many occasions, we had family in town for the holiday and loved the Chef making fresh stir fry right in front of you. They are fun and entertaining. I love the interactive time you have with their local chefs. When the flames shoot high it is fun and exciting.

We’ve been ordering from Fuji Mountain for over 7 years and initially LOVED this place. Since the pandemic the quality of the food and the service has gone downhill significantly. We have severe mushroom allergies in the family and always annotate that in all caps. On multiple occasions we have gotten mushrooms in our food, and once even had the manager argue with us. I demanded he come back to our house to pick up the dish and only then acknowledge that we were right. Since then our delivery service has been spotty. Last night’s order was the straw that broke the camel’s back and we will never order from there again. The rolls not good, the tuna sashimi was so fishy it was inedible and the salad was nothing more than a handful of wet lettuce with a single lame slice of tomato. All of this was $54…so not worth it. I ordered extra ginger sauce and extra peanut sauce, neither of which showed up and there was not soy sauce or utensils. Very disappointing. Planning to find another sushi spot in town because this isn’t worth the time and/or aggravation.

We were concerned about how dark the inside of this restaurant was when we walked in. It was after lunch, and the place was empty. We ordered some Sushi, but it was not very good (razor-thin layer of fish with a lot of rice). My son ordered “Panang Curry”, and after a few bites, he found found a worm in his food. We stopped eating immediately with disappointment and in total shock.

We ate sushi and sashimi. The food was pretty good but left me wanting more adventurous flavor, more crispness, more innovation. I wanted a yellowtail with lime and jalapeño sashimi plate that I order as a favorite at another restaurant. There were many choices of sushi rolls with tempura, which I can’t eat; I was hoping for more fresh non-fried flavors that were a flavor bomb, but I was unable to find something that satisfied that need. I was grateful for the friendly server’s attention to food allergies. The restaurant itself was comfortable and seemed pretty standard.

Im so confused by these reviews- we almost chose not to come! I’m SO Glad we did. The food was cooked perfectly. We had sushi and hibachi. Our chef was fun for our kids, quick and friendly. Our server, Avery, was so upbeat and efficient. We are only visiting, but will come back when in town.

This place used to be my favorite place to get sushi and tempura. It seems like they are not taking good care of the place. But the servers are super friendly and the sushi that I’ve had is still really good. However the last time I ordered tempura it wasn’t completely cooked and the batter was still raw around some of the veggies. I should have sent it back. But we were in a hurry and there wouldn’t have been time. One thing that bothered me was that I went to the restroom, which was clean, but when I came out there was a shelf on the right hand side that was full of Dusty greasy glassware. And then to my left was a booth full of empty cardboard boxes. It all just looks so messy and I really appreciate cleanliness in a restaurant.

They were super nice. We showed up 1 hour before closing with a party of 15. They served us with a smile and didn’t make us feel rushed, even though we didn’t finish for 10 or 15 minutes after they were closed. Food was delicious.
