This Chipotle is a disgrace to the entire brand. Corporate should be ashamed to have their name on this building.
On a busy holiday-week Tuesday night, this store was staffed by two people trying to cover the line and the register. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how horribly this place is run. And the few employees there were clearly untrained in even the most basic food-safety standards.
The dining room looked like a landfill. Trash everywhere. Tables coated in grime. Customers were actually laughing in disbelief while wiping down their own tables with paper towels from the bathroom because no one from staff even pretended to clean anything.
And somehow this location managed to hit a new low: There were zero forks in the restaurant. Not one. The only fork in the building was on the floor like a crime scene prop. Had to have been there for hours. Spoons only. This is a company charging $15+ for a bowl / meal and they can’t even supply basic utensils. Send an employee to the store and get forks. What’s next — customers hauling trash to the dumpster themselves?
This isn’t “having a bad night.” This is gross negligence and total operational failure. It was filthy, dysfunctional, and embarrassing. If Chipotle corporate has any pride left in their brand, they should shut this location down until someone competent is put in charge.

We indeed on dining in , but we had to leave because it was very dirty. Tables had bags, lids, crumbs, and straw papers on the. As well as the floors, not to mention the trash can was well over overflowing. Even if they weren’t, it was very packed and very little seating. Most of the drinks were empty in the fountains and no sauce or forks left. Workers weren’t really nice either , the person making the food was tossing my food and look very exhausted. I overheard the manager saying to give less chicken out since they were running low, also had no steak. The worker at the cashier was nice though , and the other guy before her. The food was okay .

Whoever owns or manages this place should be embarrassed. Store manager needs to be fired. The service was terrible, the rice was undercooked, and the restaurant itself was filthy. It’s obvious that cleanliness and attention to detail are not priorities here. Do yourself a favor, save your money and eat somewhere else. A ton of better options in Birkdale.

This is the worst chipotle in the area. You can tell owner is struggling financially. The restaurant is in disrepair there are holes in tile floor, baseboards coming off, and stains on the seats. If front of house looks this bad I can only imagine what kitchen looks like. They do not provide water for customers they make you buy a drink cup. You’re selling 20$ burritos but can’t afford to provide water? They make employees scale out portions. This is clearly a terrible owner and chipotle should be embarrassed by this owner.

This location definitely needs to be closed down until they have management and they have people that work there over the age 18 I walked in and was just extremely disgusted by the amount of rice and meat on the floor on the mirrors on the walkway the amount of children that are there laughing and joking behind the counter was down right ridiculous. The line was out the door The entire time none of the kids never turned around acknowledge the front door. They just stayed with their back, turn moving into slow motion, stepping over food, literally The soda fountain had food all over it rice all over it. It was just nasty never seen this before.

This is by far one of the worst locations in the Charlotte/Huntersville area. I would strongly recommend avoiding it.
I’ve visited this location several times, and each experience has been disappointing. On one visit, a worker (Caucasian male) who stated he was a shift supervisor behaved very unprofessionally. He repeatedly ran his bare hands through his hair and then returned to preparing food without washing his hands. He also complained the entire time about being tired from being out the night before, which was completely inappropriate while serving customers.
On another visit, I was charged for vinaigrette and told it could no longer be given out unless it came with a salad. Immediately after, I sent a friend in behind me and she was given vinaigrette with no issue. Policies should be applied consistently and fairly to all customers.
Today’s visit was just as disappointing. The meat was being served using the same plastic container before being dumped onto bowls, and the portion size was extremely small. My bowl looked more like a kid’s meal than a full order.
If you’re looking for good service, consistency, and proper food handling, I’d recommend trying a different location.

I am blown away by my experience, and not in a good way. I placed an online order and paid in advance at this restaurant, only to be denied to my food. I walked up to the front doors and attempted to open them, where I saw a sign that said, “online orders only”, and I assumed that that meant me. I had placed an online order. However, all of the doors to the establishment were locked, and when I and the people around me tried to open them, the employee inside simply looked at us, and then went back to looking at their phone as they were all sitting at the tables in the lobby.I then knocked on the door and the same thing happened again. An employee then left to take what I assume was a smoke break, and I ran and grabbed the door before it could close. When I entered the establishment, somebody stopped me and said we’re closed. I informed the person that I had an online order and he begrudgingly let me go. This then happened again about three seconds later when an employee told me again rather rudely, that we were closed. When I told her that I had an online order, she roughly asked what my name was, and then promptly shoved the food in my hands and told me “we’re closed” closed again before muttering. I do not understand why they would have the place open, or at least have employees in clear view of the customers and then not have the doors open to them. It was almost impossible to get the food I paid for, and I can’t imagine what a shy person would’ve done in the situation.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Do not order online—unless you’re physically able to check your order before leaving, it will likely be wrong. I think this is the fourth time in a row my online order has shown up incorrect in some way. At this point I feel like the idiot for giving them that many chances. Items missing ingredients, added wrong ingredients, rice not cooked all the way through, etc.
That said, if you go in person, be prepared for the place to be a mess. Trash everywhere, soda machines not working, the whole place looking pretty neglected. It’s honestly astonishing this location has managed to stay open.

Trash, I keep trying to give chipotle chance after chance and keep getting disappointed. I maybe had 5 pieces of chicken in my whole burrito, this is the 4th or 5th time the rice is crunchy and undercooked. I give up, please bring qdoba back

I had to repeat my order 3x because the employee was listening to music and couldn’t hear me to take my order. This location has very dirty tables and extremely poor portions compared to the other chipotle. I would almost guess manager is keeping food costs very low to steal food. We were all hungry again 20 min later. Unfriendly staff and they argued with each other while we were trying to order.
Best to avoid this location.
