We visited for the first time and had a wonderful lunch. We both had the lobster roll special, one cold and one warm, and it was delicious. Packed with lobster. I had the fries which were plump and lightly fried. Possibly the best fries I have ever had. The onion rings weren’t nearly as successful. The place is comfy and the 3 young ladies provided great, friendly service.

We were recently visiting family in Winthrop and decided to try Ferrante’s as they had never been. We sat on the rear patio over looking the harbor and it was beautiful. Our drinks were all wonderful and the food was excellent, probably one of the best lobster rolls in the city and not expensive! This is a great little gem in Winthrop I hope to eat at again when we return in October!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The scallops are definitely a reason to return. The Sunday Ragout was hearty and very tasty. The restaurant offers outside seating which was very busy so the day we went, we were the only inside diners.

Really enjoyed our first visit. The staff are attentive, helpful, and welcoming. It’s a small, cozy place. The outside seating looks inviting. Great for family, first day, and date night. Nice atmosphere. Nice addition to Winthrop.

We stopped in today for a quiet lunch and were very impressed. Spotlessly clean, minimalist design, with a bold and flavorful cuisine. I absolutely loved the lobster chowder, more of a stew with big chunks of lobster in a thick reduction studded with sweet corn. And my shrimp scampi was outstanding – even with so much garlic, there was balance so nothing overpowered.

My wife & I went in for the first for lunch. We each had burgers which were the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. The fries are the real deal. Food quality was superb, restaurant was very clean and the Manager/Server Caitlin was outstanding, friendly and very attentive. Next time we’ll go back for dinner which features an interesting dinner menu. However, based on our lunch experience, this place has all the potential to be a top tier restaurant in Winthrop.

Gorgeous place on the water. We were really excited and it was terrible. We had ok new to the place, nice, disorganized service and the food was not good for the price. My mom had the twin lobsters and one of them had something different than your normal inner findings ans had a very odd flavor and couldn’t be eaten. The other was sweet and good. I was so excited to try the sparta shrimp meal when I looked online with a lobster tail on the side. Tail was good. The pasta was swimming in a watery mess of too heavy wine-based broth. I waited like 15 minutes for parmesan cheese to come out and then had to ask again for it. By the time I even tried it, it was totally cold and the parmesan cheese could not help the flavor at all. No one checked on us again until we were done and waiting. The drinks were great. We attempted to get even something off, $10? A drink on the house?Nope
