My wife and i went here for the first time for breakfast. The food was decent, but what makes me write a review is the cinnamon rolls. These are hands down the best in portland – they come out piping hot, the dough is the perfect consistency and (this might be a personal preference) they are heavy on the cinnamon so it has a nice spice flavor instead of just pure sweetness.

Really fun diner and a great breakfast spot. Had the bacon and onion hash with gravy, super tasty and a really filling dish. Went for the biscuit on the side and would recommend that for anyone going. One of my more favorite breakfasts in the area! ***note it is cash only*** but there’s an umpqua atm across the street

This place definitely does NOT live up to its name. Went there this afternoon and got a sizzling hash. It was $16 and the portions were tiny. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she basically said the cooks just left and yea it’s smaller then it normally would be. She didn’t charge me for my iced tea….will never ever go back. Save your $$ and eat somewhere else.

Omg, I had the best buttermilk pancake here and you can order just one !! Also the beef hash was cooked to perfection, even when I had a bagel earlier, I was able to finish the whole dish. The waiter was super helpful and service was good. Would come here again just for the pancake!!!

This place is the perfect little diner! They have a little of everything on the menu and we devoured the whole meal. Don’t miss the “sinnamon bun” which is the perfect balance of sweet, doughy goodness! Omelets were perfect and they sell pancakes by the single cake which is exactly what I need. Come here and enjoy!

I was underwhelmed by my visit on Sunday, 4.23.23. My pancake was burnt on the bottom, I never got the extra butter I asked for twice, hashbrowns and eggs were cold, and my bacon was not quite done. I sent back the bacon, and my whole plate was taken, making the rest of the food even colder when it finally arrived back to me. Coordination between kitchen and waitstaff and patrons seemed chaotic at best. I’ve heard great things about this place, I’ll go again to give them another chance. It may just be that I was there on a bad day.
