It’s Denny’s. Rundown area. American diner. The service was good with one worker covering the whole restaurant. The veggie omelet without onions had alot of onions. The toast was dry verging on stale. Even the coffee was somehow bad. The service was good though. Whatever they are paying that guy is not enough.

The South auburn Dennys restaurant #7876, my wife and I went to Dennys today for my 50th birthday. Our waitresses’ name was Tammy. We ordered hot wings, and they did not have them, which she did not tell us until 15 minutes after we ordered them, she didn’t know the things the restaurant was out of, there was no communication between the kitchen staff and the waitresses. so we changed it to cheese sticks, and those were burnt. My wife ordered lazanga, and they didn’t have that, so we both ordered cheese burgers, and those were dry and over cooked and took a long time for us to get them. My wife ordered a milk shake, and she forgot to bring it, and then she forgot to put the milk shake on the receipt. And the waitresses didn’t seem to care. So we paid for our food and left very dissatisfied! Both the waitresses and the chefs didn’t care about the customers. I did add a photo of my receipt.

There have been some so-so ratings for this Denny’s location; but my friends and I had a very good experience here. Our server was prompt and friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed, even though it was busy enough to have people waiting for tables. We always order breakfast there no matter the time of day. The food was great and the fruit was fresh. We had absolutely no complaints about anything at this location, and we would definitely dine there again.

The food had good portions and was cooked to order quite well. Had 2 eggs, hash browns, sausage links and two large pancakes, washed down with pretty good orange juice. The place was fairly clean and service was good as well. The restroom almost caused a drop in grade to a three, but it was usable. The security lock on the door (to keep non-customers out?) didn’t work and the stall that would be for handicap was out of order. I did receive an email from Denny’s (management?) regarding the issues and if I would go over the problems. I do reviews of what I’ve seen and post them. If you go there, you’ll see I don’t make things up. So, it’s not my job to fix the problems, that is what Management hires people to do. Bring in a plumber, electrician, whatever is needed to keep your business in decent condition. Give your customers a small questionnaire to review and rate your business. Things change or break on a daily basis.

Honestly, one of the worst Denny’s I’ve been to ever. To start off, my family and I got there right around 12pm for my sisters birthday lunch. After getting seating, we were not attended to until 15 minutes later. After finally ordering drinks and food, our drinks did not come until 12:45. Short after, our appetizer came at 12:56. Almost a whole hour since we arrived at this location. Finally at 1:12, we got our food which being honest, was not the best. No napkins were provided, some of our sides never came and it was just a poor job from the staff. We did not complain at all and were patient the entire time. The manager yelling at her to hurry up didn’t help at all, it only stressed her out more. We didn’t want to add any more stress but todays visit was definitely not worth the 102$ bill. Better service and management needs to do better. Would not recommend coming here if you want to just be forgotten about and not cared for.

I’ve dined here several times over the past 6 years. Most recent was 2 weeks ago. Servers have been professional and friendly. I usually modify orders such as adding poached eggs or getting substitutions or asking for crisp hash browns. Have had burgers and Club Sandwiches. All were good. The seasoned fries I got in the past were excellent even in “To Go” orders. Very good location right off SR-18. Easy to re-enter that freeway from this restaurant.
