Great food, generous portions and great service. What’s not to love? Particularly like going there for happy hour. Never crowded when I have been there and never have had to wait. Drinks are strong too!

The place was empty on a Saturday night for a good reason. I expected good quality since they claim New York inspired. The experience with the front was not good they could not give me a suggestion for a salad with chicken.what they ended up giving me was a tiny side salad and a container with grilled chicken. Their steak sandwich was terrible. Soggiest bread and soggy lettuce the tooth pick that wasn’t needed was hidden almost bit into it. Ended up just eating the vainy steak that tased boiled. asked for steak fries they gave me crappy crunchy fries. They left out a vegetable platter I paid for. Soggy canolies that taste like they e been there for a month. The inside is heavy whip cream and they have cherries on each side. Terrible What a horrible place. Would not recommend anyone go there or take their family there. I don’t k ow how they are still in business. No leadership presence there. Don’t waist your time.

I am compelled to share my disappointing experience at a Palm Springs establishment I previously enjoyed. Upon my initial visit in 2022, the venue had recently reopened following the COVID-19 pandemic, and its unique, 50s-style diner atmosphere, complete with vibrant colors and decor, and there was openly gay people with wonderful personallitey that delivered warm reception and exeptional service that left a lasting impression. The diversity was noticeable !
However, my recent return was a stark contrast.
The once-colorful establishment morft into something dark and depressing , like old Dennis located of old truck rout and the parking lot was eerily empty on a Wednesday morning. Despite the name being correct, I questioned whether I had entered the wrong establishment. The menu, though unchanged in size and content, was presented by an entirely new staff, all of whom were Hispanic which, while not an issue for me, was a notable difference from my previous visit.
The food portions were satisfactory, but the quality was subpar, particularly the burnt coffee, which was undrinkable.
The bill was exorbitant, with two coffees costing $9, an $19 ham and cheese omelette, a $23 smoked salmon bagel, and a single egg for $6. The total, $65.48, plus a $10 tip, resulted in a staggering $75 bill for a breakfast that was, by no means, exceptional.
I am disappointed to report that this once-vibrant, mid-century-inspired eatery has lost its charm, and I would not recommend it, nor will I return.
I have attached a copy of my receipt to substantiate my review and encourage others to form their own opinions.

Fast restaurant with a very large menu. First time in PS and went to many different restaurants.

Service was good and food was very good. Large selection of desserts and pastries.

The cornbeef sandwich was very good and reminded of the delis’ in Manhattan as the name stated.

The Cobb salad, soups and other dishes were just as tasty.

Would go back to try other dishes.

First time, good with generous portions. The Monte Cristo lunch was very good. Their french fries are like home made so maybe they are.
I had the pastrami on rye with coleslaw. Very generous with the pastrami, a tad drier than I would have hoped, but still good. Service was good with Marissa & Mauricio (?). Huge menu! There is something on this menu for everybody.

We saw they have amazing google reviews, just casually visiting. We had great brunch, all of the servers were awesome and welcoming. We asked for their signature menu and dessert, one of our servers explained all the details of the restaurant menu !
The corned beef sandwich was huge big. All the layers of the beef looked cool, juicy and tasty! Make sure you request the fresh crunch cucumber pickles and cabbage pickles with the corned beef(no additional charge)

Incredible food and so many options! The bakery is TO DIE FOR! We ate here twice during our 5 day stay in Palm Springs. And always make it a point to stop each time we come.

A pretty solid deli! Great sandwiches and dinner specials. I ordered the pastrami ruben fries; tasty. Our table also ordered the 1/2 corned beef sandwich and the pastrami dog. Visited Friday night, dinner time, so the dining room was crowed and too loud for conversation.

I dinned in with a friend. I had previously been to this restaurant before it was refurbished and made into a bright and cheery environment. The food was very good, especially for the price. The server was particularly friendly and very attentive. We sat in a booth, so the atmosphere was enhanced. My tuna fish salad was really good. I actually liked it better than Sherman’s another competitive deli like restaurant in Palm Springs. I have to really say that the raspberry Jewish pastry that I had was delicious and I love desserts.

The recent renovations to the restaurant really make the dining experience so much more pleasant is much more mid-century, bright colors, Palm Springs style, which I personally find cheerful and vibrant … I plan to go back.
