Very nice place!!!! Wanted a really nice dinner with a group of friends and this was perfect. Would be good for a nice date as well. The steak was phenomenal!!! We all got the cowboy ribeye. Everyone at our table loved everything and had zero complaints. We had espresso martinis and cheesecake after and it was bomb. Definitely give this place a try!!

Visited this place with a couple of friends. We ordered tuna and oysters as appetizers, and both were extremely fresh. For dinner I had the special, which included lobster and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious. The drinks were also all very good. Would definitely recommend!

It all starts with SERVICE, a term which seems to escape the MANAGER on duty. When we arrived we were seated at two separate booths, one for 6 children and the other for 8 adults. Unfortunately, the booth for 8 was way too cramped forcing two adults to squeeze together at each of opposite ends. After addressing the matter with our server and a hostess, both of which were unable to provide other seating arrangements, I raised the issue with the manager. I requested that we be seated at a section of the restaurant with 7 empty tables adjacent to one another and with 5 empty booths across from these tables. There was only one booth which was in use. The manager stated that she could not seat us by joining a number of tables together because it could interfere with serving other guests that could be seated at these booths. This was simply NOT the case, but regardless half the restaurant was empty and it was 8:30PM on Sunday night. Any reasonable person would conclude that a huge number of arrivals at this hour was highly unlikely. The truth is that she simply didn’t want to. See the attached photos at 8:30PM and a photo taken at 10PM as we were leaving and there was only one other party remaining in a different area of the restaurant. I made the decision to dine at this restaurant and had made the reservation which I now regret. I was so disgusted with the manager’s REFUSAL to accommodate my simple request that I skipped dinner entirely, but given the late hour on a Sunday night, it was impractical for our party to walk out. We have dined at this restaurant before as well as at other cities, but this is absolutely the last time. There were other mishaps during dinner by the wait staff and kitchen, but the real problem was the manager. She never came to our table to check in on us given the tension resulting from her refusal to seat us as requested, nor did she offer a gesture of goodwill, nor did she express any gratitude for our patronage as we were leaving. Her management and hospitality skills leave a lot to be desired.

We stopped in in our last night in Sarasota. We had made a reservation so we were sat promptly. Our server was very friendly and made a few suggestions… we started with a very tasty seafood dip. I went with the pasta and my husband had the steak for our mains. When making the reservation, I was asked if it was a special occasion… we had just celebrated our 20th anniversary, so when the meal was done our server brought us a very yummy strawberry shortcake dessert on the house!

I highly recommend Connors for lunch. We celebrated my aunt’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff is always very pleasant. The restaurant has an upscale atmosphere and the food is always excellent. Our waitress Staci was superb! She really made our luncheon even more fun! She provided superior service and had such a fantastic personality, a winning combination, which is hard to find with servers these days. The lunch menu prices are very reasonable too. I give Connors a big thumbs up! And be sure to ask for Staci!

The food at this location was absolutely fantastic. The service is something that is lacking though. While our server tried the timing on everything was off. Got our appetizer before any drinks, and one of our party of five got their soup and finished their soup before anyone else got their salads. Desserts and coffee/post dinner drinks all came at different times as well. Getting a box at the end was almost as brutal as waiting for our check/credit cards back (25+ min).

I’ve been to Connors several times and the service, food, and atmosphere is always great! I recently celebrated a birthday here and they made me feel very special. Not only did several staff wish me a happy birthday, I got a delicious complimentary dessert, and they gave me a birthday card with a handwritten message and all the staff signed it. Menu was excellent. The food came out in a timely manner and good temperature. It was a busy Saturday so the service was a little slower than we had hoped. And the prices were not outrageous but we were extremely glad we stopped for lunch instead of dinner.

I wasn’t blown away by this place unfortunately. My food items from appetizer to entree were very bland tasting (lobster dip and shrimp linguine). The alcoholic beverage (margarita) was good. The strawberry shortcake dessert was clearly right out the refrigerator. I’m sure there are other things on the menu that could’ve been better but I won’t be back to try.
