Honestly, I found the food very mediocre. It wasn’t bad at all, and the portions are very generous – I just feel it doesn’t offer something special from what you could have quickly made at home boiling some pasta and throwing some sauce. It was tasty but in the end I was expecting more of an ‘italian’ taste. Don’t order the sangría – literally instant strawberry juice with alcohol and fruit.

The soft drink machine was actually a syrup dispenser. We were told they were having issues with the machine for several days. The restaurant has a sour smell as soon as you walk through the doors. Long story short I will not be back to visit the nasty garden anymore.

Our server was rude. Genuinely one of the worst server experiences I have experienced. I have worked the serving industry for years and just couldn’t wrap my head around why she was so rude. I was seated with one of my plus sized friends and sister at a table, and our server would treat me and my sister completely fine and glare, ignore, and even be outright disrespectful to my plus sized friend. She wouldn’t even acknowledge her anytime she’d say anything, she basically slammed down the plates any time she brought something and was constantly giving her a dirty look, and made very passive aggressive comments “Are you going to eat all that?” .It was extremely uncomfortable, and by that point I wasn’t even hungry anymore. She (The Server) didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and it honestly made us not want to come back. Once again I’ve worked server jobs, it’s not hard to just be polite or hell even fake it. The bartender on shift next to our table was so sweet and I wish I had her as a server instead. I’m not going to name a name, but please Olive Garden work on your customer service. It feels awful as my first time coming here and we don’t feel welcome back.

This review is for a take out order. Hope it helps someone. 1st I requested pickup for 6:00 & it was not ready until 6:30. Annoying when the food is for a party. 2nd the Chicken Alfredo was not already mixed, like we had to figure out how much sauce to put in each pan of pasta after we were already late with the food. Really annoying 3rd the food was just OK at best. With limited choices in the Lake area for Italian food, next time I will make the drive to Joe’s in Sulphur.

Same bartender for years Joe! calm atmosphere for lunch early dinner. Jackie was fast and friendly. Try the Bellini drinks non and alcoholic. Always get the dipping sauces and I like to change my meals up from the menu which the always try to accommodate.

First time at this location and it was not the best. We were seated quickly but that was the only quick thing about the night. Our waitress didn’t seem to want to be there and it showed. She was slow to come by so it took forever to get anything. The salad was brought out about 15 minutes after we ordered and we had no silverware to eat with. Asked the waitress for some and she said she’d get it. Another 15 minutes pass and now our food was coming and we still had no silverware. Asked the waitress again and she told us they didn’t have any. She finally brought us some and we could eat. I had water to drink and never got a refill or even asked if I wanted one. She said they were busy but there were several tables open. We were there for an hour and a half and I just was ready to go. Very disappointing as it is an hour and a half drive and that was the experience we had.
