They didn’t have any food available when we came all the pans were mostly empty or cold the person who seated us asked if I needed a high chair or a booster seat for my grandkids but never brought them to the table I had to ask our waiter 3 times for our drinks to be refilled it wasn’t even a full restaurant only a few families she ignored me when I tried to wave her down to ask for napkins then went to the next table and spoke with them and still didn’t bring me any napkins I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE I USUALLY GIVE TIPS BUT I CAN’T TIP WHEN HER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND SHE DIDNT GIVE THE OTHER 2 TABLES THE SAME TREATMENT AND I TOLD THE MAN WHO CLAIMED TO BE THE MANAGER I DIDNT APPRECIATE HOW SHE TREATED ME AND MY GRANDKIDS

I love this location even though it’s bad area, I’ve eaten at this location idk how many times I say more than 5…some days they have crawfish…I thought lunch specials were cheaper but I guess it went up lol everything is going up…The food was decent, the temperature could’ve been hotter…out of everything I got the best was the noodles veggies and shrimp everything else I kind of nibble and threw away….it use to be way better food quality but hey things change…..out all China Stars this one still one my top favorites..I recommend even if your not seafood lover they have other options.. vegetarian options as well.. desserts I didn’t like the light brown cake but the chocolate one and banana covered in strawberry syrup always my favs….an for my drink I had tea…

My granddaughter and mom wanted to go, so the family went. We were seated immediately. My mother is 88 and they were very accommodating. They asked where she wanted sit and were very patient with her. They had the dishes that we all expect at a buffet. They also have a Sushi bar and a create your own hibachi grill.

Waiters are very nice and attentive. The food is pretty good too, but the price for their tea is outrageous! $5.99 for tea. That’s the price for a bottled water at the NRG stadium. And to top it off, the jug is not brought to the table to refill, you are asked if you want more tea and if you do, they take your cup to the back kitchen to refill. This is just outrageous, how is their tea made for this price. Makes me not want to order any drinks because my daughter can’t drink tap water because of her braces. Smh.

A young male waitstaff about 19-21 told me and my mother that should could not have her walker in the restaurant. We’ve dined at this location for over a decade and have never had an issue even after my mother started using her walker but, today was different. Not only was the young man insensitive, so was the manager. My family was moved to the order side of the restaurant but, when another customer with a wheelchair came in, he was allowed to sit where he wanted. I believe the treatment we received was racially motivated. My mother asked for the owner who we have a relationship with but, the manager came out instead. She was neither helpful or sensitive to my mother’s disability and continued to argue her point while we were still trying to enjoy our food as a postponed lunch for my mom. Our waitress was polite and understanding at the table we were placed at but, we advised her that r we would not be returning and she understood and agreed with our decision. I hope that none of the people who were rude to us ever have to use an assistive device for mobility. Maybe they would be more empathetic if it was their experience or that of one of their loved ones.

Got there around 11:30, alot of the food pans were empty and not refilled. Had to ask the non English speaking lady twice and point and then ask a waitress as well. Some still weren’t refilled before we finally left. Restroom is horrible. The women’s restroom always smells like a sewer and it’s nauseating. There’s also a stitch that comes from a room in back left corner that’s a mix between sour mop and sewer as well so don’t sit close to either area. Sometimes the music is ridiculously loud, but for the most part it’s pretty good when they actually have the stuff you want to eat. ☺️
