Sweet and sour chicken was not freshly cooked and chewy. Rice was hard. Sauce was lumpy.Chicken wings were still pink in sections and tatse freezer burnt.

Food is good esp the chicken always fresh. The rice on the other hand is always somewhat overcooked. The chicken wings are big and they are generous with the extra onions and pork for the fried rice. Its a good spot if you love Chinese like me keep in mind it is too expensive 11 plus dollars for 1 order or just an order of wings over $8 with no drink is beyond me. The price took it down a . I would give this a 3.5 star. It was not great, but it was good for $7. I had shrimp lomein. The egg roll was not good and it was greasy. Too greasy to eat, I took two bites and threw it away. I would probably stop here again if I was in the are, but skip the egg roll

The family who owns China 88 is amazing! They work hard and are friendly every single visit. The food is reliably delicious and the serving sizes are perfect for that late night chinese food fridge raid, lol. We have been going here for years and will always use China 88 as our neighborhood restaurant. We’re happy to have them here and gladly support this wonderful establishment!

I ordered threw door dash. Will never do this again. First of all the delivery driver was sitting out front of my house blowing the horn multiple times when I opened my front door she was yelling from her car window I had to come to her car to get my food….why is it called door dash then?!? After walking out to the car she said she could hear a dog in the back yard…I have a 6 foot privacy fence so there’s no problem….she then told me she didnt trust it and started to leave with my dinner! After this I got in to realize there was no tea with my order. I paid for it yet didn’t get it. I called the restaurant for them to tell me they sent the delivery driver home and I couldn’t get the tea unless I drove up there myself…again why would I drive up there when I ordered from door dash so I didn’t have to go anywhere…the food really wasn’t very good either. They used way too much garlic and ginger. I bad day ending with a bad dinner!

Typical Chinese – strip-mall fast food. No frills no thrills. If you have been in any other Chinese shop then you will know exactly what to expect here. Food is decent. Service is as expected. Out if the 4 times I ate there I only had 1 hair in my chicken and broccoli! Nice bonus. Are there any good Chinese places in Hampton? If so, I haven’t found one yet.
