The Stuffed Ham Sandwiches are well worth a 30-45 min detour, as they are one of the best “only found in Maryland” meals found in the state! I tried to take one bite of the sandwich as an endorsement for the photo and discovered that I had devoured the half before I set it down… Amazing flavor!

Excellent food, service, and reasonably priced. Anytime we’re in the area visiting family, we make reservations. Our family is there weekly. We’ve never had a bad meal. If you’ve never had stuffed ham – it’s a St Mary’s County thing – definitely worth it. It doesn’t matter if it’s seafood or steak, it’s all cooked to perfection. Lots of locals eat here.

Picked up a stuffed ham sandwich for dinner the other day from the deli – it was so fresh and delicious and the portion was so generous that I actually had dinner and lunch the next day! This deli is only 16 minutes from Gate 1 of PAX River NAV/AIR and is a better alternative to fast food! Walk-in, call ahead or order online! Soooooo GOOD!
