My son and I ate here on a Saturday night without a reservation, so we sat at the bar not a table. It was captivating to watch the chefs cooking and the staff getting food out. The staff was very hard working. Our waitresses in particular, was good but could have been a bit more attentive.

What a classic Italian restaurant. You walk in and the spices and aroma make an instant impact. They are now open 7 days a week and we love ordering take out. If it has been awhile since you had dinner there, do yourself a favor and stop in for a great dinner.

It’s my husband birthday and we had lovely dinner here. Food was excellent. We have rotisserie chicken risotto, pork tenderloins, chopped salad, mussels and bruschetta as appetizers. Highly recommended.

Quality pork chops were over cooked and tough. Empty plates sat between servings. Loud restaurant, skip it for date night.

I recently traveled to Rome & wanted to savor the vacation a bit, so I booked a dinner reservation here and was not disappointed! The Roman style rice balls were a hit with every one at the table (it’s called suppli in Rome and I’m not aware of any other restaurant in the twin cities that offers it.) I had cascio e pepe and added some shrimp fabulous! For dessert, the lemon raspberry tirimisu was a perfect treat for summer.

Looking for a different Italian option in the western suburbs and glad we found Campiello. It was late Monday evening, we didn’t have reservations, but were promptly seated by our delightful hostess. White tablecloths and napkins gave an upscale feel but music selections were out of character with the (high!) food quality and presentation. Clever, creative cocktails were followed by an excellent Caesar salad and one of the best chicken picatas I’ve had in years. Wife and daughter also had pasta dishes they thoroughly enjoyed. Deserts were delicious. Despite our waitress having to work too many tables she remained helpful and friendly. We’ll certainly be back.

Outstanding! Myself and a coworker found Campiello in Google while in the area for a business trip. I was super impressed with both the food and especially the service. They really nailed that balance of very nice attentive service without being overbearing. It felt “fancy” without trying too hard. The food was excellent too, from the focaccia to the pasta dishes, I was super impressed. We would definitely come here again!

Sangria is basically hard pink lemonade. Shouldn’t really be called sangria at all. The baked shrimp are more likely, boiled shrimp, and need to be seasoned properly. The focaccia seemed as though it had been sitting out, and then hit with a salamander only momentarily prior to being delivered to the table. The Cacio Pepe tasted more like a cream based sauce with a hint of parmigiana and pepper. The prices are outrageous for mediocre food. The server was great; pleasant and attentive. Sitting on the patio provided a lovely atmosphere.
