Cute place. The waitstaff was friendly and courteous. My coworkers and I stopped by for lunch before a team meeting. Most of us chose the vegetarian tacos and they were delicious. The salsas were good, too!

I finally got around to trying La Barra Del taco after meeting some of the friendliest (and dachshund loving!!) employees out front when they greeted my pup. The tacos are DELICIOUS and taste very clean (vs. greasy like some other places around town). Not to mention, they are dog friendly, and remembered my dachshunds name despite meeting her weeks ago. An incredible experience all around – 10/10 tacos while being treated like family. highly recommend!

Excellent flavor tacos. I got 6 tacos and paid I believe $20 sum dollars so a tad high for the price. But flavor was good. Nothing amazing as I have had tacos in Monterrey and Mexico City wayyyy better but still for a Brownsville joint not bad. I ordered Fajita at 11am they said it wasn’t ready so i went with another style of taco that was great.

Really love the quality of tacos de harina soft easy to break let the tortilla get cold to see if it would get cold n hard but seem to eat the whole thing before realizing it. Tortilla de maiz wer amazing also waited for them to get cold n still brilliant I would highly recommend this place price point $5.99 for a coffe or agua de Jamaica a large tortilla de harin or 5 smaller tortilla de harina or maiz still great coffee order deca and regular both are amazing im not sure if it’s half n half or sugar or just plain coffe overall great will come back soon!

La Barra Del Taco was an amazing experience. They took only a few minutes to prepare the food, the place was nice and organized, it was beautiful, and best of all, the staff was kind. They gave us a warm welcome and were so polite when taking our order and said “goodbye, have a great day!” When we were exiting. Make sure to come when you visit Brownsville, TX.

Great location surprised i never checked this place out till now . Couldn’t decide which tacos were my favorite had the barbacoa, beef fajita and the chicharron all pair so nicely with 4 different salsas have to say that yellow one was my favorite definitely will be coming back !
