Recently heard about this place from a friend. My wife and I decided to try it for date night. Wow, were we Impressed. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We went at 5:30. By 6:00 people were waiting for a table. I ordered the ribeye and my wife had the filet. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The potato was fresh, cooked thoroughly and topped perfectly. The salad was larger than expected, crisp, green, and fresh.

Expanding after only a year and a half in business!!! Three flavors of homemade BBQ sauce- Baby Bear (mild, sweet, and tangy), Mama Bear (middle of the road) and Papa Bear (spiked with a ghost pepper. Delicious!! A smorgasbord of delicious eats, varieties of flavor, and small town mom-n-pop individualized service. One chef. Tried and true family recipes. Filling. Nice atmosphere. Great place to celebrate with friends and family.

Great food, with a great variety on the menu. The brisket is the best brisket you can buy out. The best brisket you can get is at my house, but this is second best brisket. The service is iffy. They are super nice & helpful, but there is a missing link there. #bbq

Beautiful and clean inside and out! This was our first time at Calamity Jane’s smokehouse BBQ and it did impress! Walking in we told them it was our first time and he explained the menu perfectly! We had the smoked Bologna, sliced brisket, chicken and pulled pork! EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING!!! We got baked beans and potatoe salad for our sides and they were yummy! We brought our 2 year old and she was able to dance and eat. She loved the music and the atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend!

I really don’t like the star rating system, tbh. This place could be 5 or 4 stars depending on what you’re looking for. The food was great. The service was great. At least tonight when we went it was very busy and loud. Not really a family friendly environment, but if you’re looking for a bar and barbeque type of place, it’s perfect. There were at least 5 flat screens: one playing golf, one playing basketball, one playing a western, etc. Tables are very close together. The waitress had to move an empty seat at our table to get through to pick up glasses from the group next to us who were doing shots.

Ordered a two meat combo with chicken and brisket. Definitely was worth the money. Pay similar amount at Rib Crib for about half the meat. Delicious! Nice cozy atmosphere. Plan to be back.

Edit…Place went downhill fast. To be fair I’ll leave previous review in place. In the past 2 months I have made 3 visits. I have not ONCE been able to order from the full evening menu. Each time I spoke with the female owner. The first 2 times were annoying but the 3rd time I tried to order a steak and they were sold out AGAIN (THIS IS AT 6PM) I politely asked what gives and she LAUGHED IN MY FACE. Stating ‘small mom and papa place, you can order a sirloin or a filet or leave. Also! Their staff can’t bring the steak you ordered to you, I’ve watched this happen to customers from the bar all 3 times, that is not an exaggeration. End edit… Staff is awesome…smoked meats are even better. We had the turkey, Jalapeño and cheddar sausage, pulled pork and polish sausage. Servings large enough we both had some to take home…(kinda little people too but mmm). We will be returning. Oh, that turkey was good!

I had a steak which was really good, however others at my table had other BBQ dishes, surprisingly served on plastic picnicware plates, and the portions were really small for the price. They were out of all ribeye steaks, unfortunately, so I had a filet.

This is the best BBQ I have ever had hands down! I’m willing to make a 45 minute drive just to eat this remarkable food. Words can’t really communicate how incredible this food is! You have to try it to understand. Also, the building is magnificent you feel like you’re in a saloon. Honestly a phenomenal experience!
