We went in for lunch on a Wednesday, there was no white seating. The waitress told us to seat ourselves. We each have iced tea. I had the unsweetened with the lemon my husband had. They sweetened the chips are restaurant yellow thick. The salsa was perfect. Not too hot. We got the small queso with that and we each and the chimichanga which came with the lettuce, tomato, sour cream sign and the rice and beans each were perfect servings. It also came with a side of queso and the queso was on the side not on everything so that was perfect. The temperature of the food was perfect. The taste was perfect. The chimichanga had a a little bit of queso in the inside and it was perfect. This dish was perfect. Perfect! Perfect perfect and that’s why this restaurant got a five it was clean. It was neat. The service was so friendly, so welcoming. The atmosphere was like eating at home.

Super yummy food! Great customer service and quiet atmosphere! Very cute slat and pepper shakers too. ❤️ I had the asada goodies and rice. The goodies were cooked nicely and the rice was cooked perfectly! I’m saving this spot in my favorites list for the next time I come to town.

Never been there before. I drove in to take out, and wanted a big order of Al pastor tacos with rice and beans. They said they didn’t have a single big order of tacos. She said she had a two Taco lunch plate with rice and beans. I asked if I could get them Al pastor, the lady says yes. My order was more than reasonably priced. However I got carne asada instead of Al pastor. Did not look fresh at all. But the meal was very good. Their rice and beans are to die for. However there’s no need to put three huge slices of radishes under your beans so that you don’t have to give as much. That’s a really chicken cheap move. Anyway after getting over my resentment for getting the wrong tacos I truly enjoyed the meal. Salsa you can replace. Not great. They need to have menudo Sundays even if I have to come cook it for them. I will be trying it again although I’m skeptical.

Food, service, and atmosphere get all 5 starts. Literally the fastest service and amazing tasting food. Perfect sized portions. My husband and I couldn’t even finish our meals. We had to take the rest home. Everything seasons perfectly. I got Fajita Oaxaca, which i highly recommend steak, chorizo, and nopales (cactus) cooked with vegetables. Served with rice, beans, guacamole, salad, sour cream, and tortillas. Their sweet tea is so good. We found our new date spot. We spent only 20minutes there. The food didn’t take long at all to come out and it was hot and fresh.

Hands down, this is the absolute best Mexican restaurant in Poteau and all of Oklahoma in my opinion. It is truly a Mexican restaurant and not Tex-Mex as so many are. We have eaten there multiple times and the food has always, and I do mean always- been outstanding. The service is bar none better than any place I have ever been to. They know what service is. I have never tasted a bad dish in the many times we have gone there. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you live in Poteau or even far away. They are tremendous and their food is oh so yummy.

Hands down best sopes I’ve had from a restaurant. Delicious tacos de cabeza and their asada fries melt in your mouth. Perfectly cooked. Good ambience all around and prompt, friendly service. Will definitely make the 35min drive to eat here again.

This Mexican food is better than any Mexican food I’ve had in Austin Texas. And the service is amazing. These people are so nice, and they make delicious food. Even the shrimp is delicious and fresh! And they use wonderful homemade tortillas. Thank you for your delicious food!
