Burger Bench is a family-owned neighborhood burger restaurant with fresh and local ingredients. We are family-friendly with kids meals, and have fries, tots, and onion rings. We have 24 taps of San Diego Craft Beer, cider, and wine. We serve grilled cheese sandwiches and have hand-made milkshakes. We have hearty salad options, as well. We also have a dog-friendly patio. Grass-fed and Halal beef patties available upon request. Gluten-free (allergen-free) buns are also available.

First time visiting here. The staff was nice and welcoming and the food was great! I especially appreciated the heaters outside. We were able to sit out on a quiet rainy night and enjoy the atmosphere and food. My husband and I are very picky eaters and we both stated we’ll definitely be back.

I went to this place because they were supposedly the best burgers in Escondido. I will say they were delicious. Good sized, well put together and overall very satisfying. Admittedly, I am knocking one star off – for two burgers, one side of aioli tots(the BEST part of my meal) and a s’mores shake(the second best part of my meal, different and so incredibly tasty) it was $43!!!! That is without tip. The food was tasty but too pricey IMO. Will definitely be back for the tots, the shakes and next time I will plan accordingly and split a burger with my date!

They are not cheap by any means ($14 burger without fries), you’d expect these prices in more expensive restaurants but the food is good, sourced locally. I tried the 3 sliders tray $14 without fries and all were really good. They also have a good selection of craft beers

Enjoyed an outstanding breakfast here that even my elderly parents loved (an incredibly rare occurrence). Cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious and my mom who is from the South loved the gravy that came with the tots. Super fresh ingredients. Appreciated the handicap table on the patio. Can’t wait to come back for lunch.
