My husband and I went there for dinner for our anniversary. When we got our order my steak was so tough I had to send it back for a new one. Which I ended up taking home because my husband was done eating. He also ordered sirloin tips with onions and the tips were burned and the amount he received definitely wasn’t worth the cost.

The waitstaff is great; we paid at the counter and the woman was pretty nice. We sat at a booth in the corner, and right off the bat you can see how decorated it is. Pictures and signs adorned the walls, and even the bathroom was decorated.The waiter was sweet and dropped off our drinks, she cared for us nicely throughout our stay. We went and got our free buffet, (we had ordered an entre) and I sat down with my sides. I ignored the large salad bar, and went straight to the sides. I had gotten a dinner roll, some mac, cheesy hashbrowns, and bacon. The mac was okay, but I’m not a big mac and cheese girl. The dinner rolls were soft and fluffy, I loved the cheesy hasbrowns, they were cheesy but not too cheesy, and the potatos were a little thick but I like them like that. I had 2 buffet plates by the time my steak arrived. I had ordered medium well, but it was pretty much medium. But I like medium too so I ate it, and it was great. I had gotten dessert after. I had icecream which tasted like regular icecream, the brownies were thick and had powdered sugar on top, and it was pretty good. I had some cheesecake in a cup, the crust was a little thick but it tasted good. The only thing I flat out didn’t like was this brownie circle thing covered in chocolate sauce. It tasted off. It costs about 17-30 dollars per person, but it’s worth it! I’d come again.

It was busy when we went, all I could eat was salad and then a few bites of my steak tips and I got sick and we had to leave. Not sick from the restaurant, but I’m hypoglycemic, and I think my sugar raised really high and then plummeted. The feeling was awful but the food was pretty good. We’ve lived in the neighborhood almost 3 years and had never tried it. Glad we did. We all enjoyed our meals & the buffet, of course.

This was my first time at this establishment since It was Ponderosa. The food somehow has gotten worse. $50 for four buffet shouldn’t feel like a rip-off But there was only a small amount of food available to choose from. The service is what saved this experience. The young man that kept cleaning off our table and refilling our drinks was OUTSTANDING. The atmosphere is like an old person’s home cafeteria. It’s dreary and musty. On top of all of this there was a bunch of ants crawling all over our table. Will not be back.

The restaurant is very clean. And staff are very nice. The food however was extremely bland and dry. No flavor and alot you couldn’t chew. The chicken wings looked they they had been sitting for hours. Even my 8 year old didn’t want to eat. She said food at school tastes better. Definitely not worth the money. While we were eating I hear multiple ppl sending there steaks back.
