Dry Rub Smoker
Good and tasty food for the price point. Much better than that other national buffet chain up the highway.

Last night was our first visit to Wesley’s and probably several years.. we went because they were advertising sirloin tips on their buffet. Very disappointed and that will probably be the last visit we ever take to Wesley’s buffet.
Food was cold, and some of it was absolutely unedible like the white gravy they had on the buffet The potatoes had a horrible taste to them and the sirloin tips that we used to thoroughly enjoy all the way back to Ponderosa days were scraps in the pan.
The rest of the food bar looked ok, and the salad bar the where the hot rolls were, that all appeared to be pretty close to normal what we used to expect. The pasta bar looked horrible. The white cream sauce really needed to be pulled .
The dessert bar was even worse than the rest of the stuff and it looked like kids had just been playing in it without any supervision which is not the restaurant’s fault but it just looked like it wasn’t being taken care of. They actually ran out of ice cream all three flavors during that same supper rush.
My overall impression of the visit after paying $36 for two seniors, it appeared that the restaurant was being run by kids and and the buffet was being taken care of by kids. They were unable to sustain the line that showed up shortly after we arrived which was about 10 minutes to 5:00 and through what I called the supper rush, which there wasn’t that many people in there but there was two meeting rooms that had quite a few people in them and they just couldn’t keep up with what the small serving sizes they were put on the buffet and there was always a line waiting on sirloin tips.
Overall impression: food temperatures need to be addressed, staffing issues, never saw an adult age supervisor, and a monitor on the bars for food replacements and cleanliness.
I can honestly say that I can not recommend this location for dining.

I’ll preface this whole review by saying me and my wife went on Valentine’s Day so of course we knew going in that it would probably be a more rough than normal experience. However, while the food was on point, I was rang up the wrong steak at the register, was charged for it. Didn’t notice until it came out, my ticket said the more expensive ribeye, I said I had told him sirloin, so she gave the one steak to my wife and took the other steak back, which I paid for and had to wait another 15 minutes for the cut of steak and was never given the option to get my money back. Again crazy day, things happen. But it was around 2p when we went and breakfast food was still out. All day breakfast maybe? Well it was taken away shortly after we got there and never replaced with more or lunch/dinner which makes me think they were very far behind and only just now noticing they forgot to take it away. To make matters worse, someone didn’t roll the silverware together so everyone coming in was constantly waiting on silverware. Near the end of the dining experience a family say next to us. All were in some sort of distress. But one of the older ones who had down syndrome started getting violently ill and no one in the staff to my knowledge offered any help.
Again I say, I know this must have been a tough day for everyone involved but a few things that messed with an otherwise enjoyable if not forgettable experience.

MY son found this place and we thought why not. The inside is very cozy and service is incredible. Always someone there to help. I got double Steak tips thinking it would bea small portion only finished half. So freaking good and juicy YOU will go back to other restaurants and Complain about how dry their steak was in comparison. Not a loud place. so if you have a date this is a good place. Needless to say this place is a hidden gem.I am glad my son found it.

It was great. New owners are doing a great job. Nice crunchy fried chicken and big salad bar, and everything was fresh. Approved place to go if you like big salads with lots of fixings. The brunch has thick crispy bacon, crisp hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks (crisp as well), biscuits and gravy, and sausages… Go give it a try. Its about $15 per adult and between $3 and $11 for kids depending on age.

Value and variety are the stars. The food isn’t Michelin rated, but that’s not why you go here. That being said, outstanding service and good bang for the buck. Some of the food IS really good, and the salad stuff always seems fresh and crunchy!

This was our first time there. Walked in and wasn’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait at the counter. After several staff passed us we stopped one who replied they would get someone. Once seated we finally received our drinks as we were finishing our salads. Food choices were poor! Fried chicken or chicken wings! Oh and tacos with meat that looked like cat food. Was very disappointed.

Best an most dependable eatery ive found in 20 years! I consider this place the “cafeteria” for me and my workers because we stop in multipletimes a week. It’s the best salad bar I’ve found and the buffet always satisfies everyone. We work hard and can depend on Westly Rodgers so we can eat good and have the energy we need to doit again the next day! The included deserts are also very good. The food and service as well as cleanliness are always great. My crew isn’t the only people in there multiple times a week i see another of the same faces and they have smiles on them. My kids love it also.

Overall horrible experience. The guy up front didn’t give us our forks and when I had asked one of the workers for some forks he automatically assumed we were dining without paying and checked our recipes. I just dont understand why he had to check our recipes just because we didn’t recieve our forks? (Of course we gave him them to check but its the fact that customers shouldn’t be treated that way) then had a few more issues and I am grateful for the $5 off due to the mix up but i feel like we were treated badly when all we were trying to do is have a cute date night at one of my (was, not anymore) favorite restaurants

The waitstaff is great; we paid at the counter and the woman was pretty nice. We sat at a booth in the corner, and right off the bat you can see how decorated it is. Pictures and signs adorned the walls, and even the bathroom was decorated. The waiter was sweet and dropped off our drinks, she cared for us nicely throughout our stay. We went and got our free buffet, (we had ordered an entre) and I sat down with my sides. I had gotten a dinner roll, some mac, cheesy hashbrowns, and bacon. The mac was okay, and the dinner rolls were soft and fluffy, I loved the cheesy hasbrowns, they were cheesy but not too cheesy, and the potatos were a little thick but I like them like that. I had 2 buffet plates by the time my steak arrived. I had ordered medium well, but it was pretty much medium. But I like medium too so I ate it, and it was great. I had gotten dessert after. I had icecream, which tasted like regular icecream, the brownies were thick and had powdered sugar on top, and it was pretty good. I had some cheesecake in a cup, the crust was a little thick but it tasted good. The only thing I flat out didn’t like was this brownie circle thing covered in chocolate sauce. It tasted off. It costs about 17-30 dollars per person, but it’s worth it! I’d come again.
