Y’all!!! This is some of the best Italian food I’ve had since going to NY. Please call to make reservations because they are booked. The service was great! The hostess squeezed us in without a reservation and all the servers worked together to provide top notch hospitality. The food…you have to try for yourself because words can’t describe the goodness it holds. The ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection! They have monthly events for the community so you should check it out.

I had dinner at Bruno’s of Brooklyn last weekend and I have to say their customer service is the worst I have experienced in any restaurant I have ever been to. Our reservation was for 8:00pm inside but when we arrived the restaurant was packed and extremely loud probably due to its size. We decided it would be better to sit outside even though it was very hot and humid. Once we finally had our table ready @ 8:15pm, a lady came to our table to ask us if we wanted to have something to drink. We proceeded to ask her what type of wine would be best paired with the Penne alla Bruno dish and she flat out responded with a very bad tone of voice she doesn’t drink wine and she couldn’t recommend any wine. We found that response shocking especially we were at an Italian restaurant. We would’ve been ok had she sought someone else’s recommendations but she didn’t. Our salad took 35 minutes to arrive our table and 10 minutes later a waitress came with our fried calamari. We were in the middle of eating our calamari when a different waitress delivered our entrees. She proceeded to place them on the other side of the table and walked away. We took a few bites of our entrees and we decided to ask for a go to box as we had completely lost our appetites.

This was our first visit to this authentic Italian restaurant. From the ambiance, to the pleasant staff, to the attentive owners, to the awesome food … what a wonderful experience. We had the gnocchi in vodka sauce with sausage and the penne with meatballs. So good.

Being a restaurant owner I am usually skeptical of dining out. My husband is a meticulous and extremely disciplined chef, so our expectations are very high. My mother and I had an early dinner at Bruno’s last night, and it was incredible. I admire the small quaint atmosphere, the chef creating within eyes view of the dining area and the sense of family displayed amongst the staff and its patrons. If you haven’t tried this place, do it. It will not disappoint. It’s refreshing to observe small businesses, especially those run by their owners who obviously put so much time, passion and love into their establishment continue to flourish. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

I’ve never even written a review in my life. That being said I found this place on accident googling some local spots a place I’ve never been. We walk up and the place is very small, we get sat at the bar.. I admit I’m not a small guy and it was tight. The menu blew my mind. Veal, pasta, squid ink! Veal is what I chose and I rate it the best veal I’ve eaten. Again that being said, after talking with the chef, and the awesome people on both sides of us in the quaint atmosphere, I’m not sure veal makes my top 5. The dishes tasted and looked amazing, the atmosphere was everything you could want on vacation just chopping it up with strangers, and a husband and wife team that are just doing it right. 10/10 from my wife and I. My personal best dining experience I’ve ever had, and could and might go there the last 2 nights I have available here in Fort Myers. Tip my hat to you chef!

The Food Was Awesome… A little heavy handed on the parsley for my liking but other than that it was awesome! Definitely not the place for you if you are claustrophobic… You will leave either loving or hating your neighbor Make sure you make a reservation well in advance.

The food was amazing. I ordered the fettuccini alfredo and it’s the best I’ve had. The service was also great, the space is tight inside but I forgot quickly after the food hehe lol. Also, I had left my card and one of the servers ,(young man with twists) ran outside to find me to give it back to me. It was thoughtful and kind for him to go out of his way to do that. I will definitely be back.

Celebrating a friend’s birthday. Where to go? Bruno’s! Why? Delicious food and great service – they treat you like family. And, to support a business which provided hot meals to people in need after Hurricane Ian. Thanks, Bruno’s ❤️

My husband and I always go to Bruno’s on our best, or worst days. No matter which type of day it is, we leave feeling happy, full, and overwhelmed with the beauty of our community. Cal and Genevieve are the epitome of what makes Fort Myers a great place to live, and eat.

AMAZING!!!! first and foremost, lets just talk about those Arancini Balls – on the menu it says serves 2 – seriously serves like 5 people LOL – we had ordered 2 orders of the arancini balls thinking they were small, oh were we so terribly wrong, but not mad about getting 2 MASSIVE BALLS lol – AMAZING – the seasoning on the rice – was perfect – the amount of ricotta – heated to perfection! For entrees, I got the Fiocchi alla Bianca – its one of my favorite Italian dishes, sweet and savory 😀 Pasta perfected to its Al Dente! My husband and cousin both got the Penne alla Bruno with chicken, slow simmered “Bruno’s Sugo (Sicilian sauce)” IT WAS TO DIE FOR – the chicken – perfectly seasoned – managed to taste all the ingredients in one bite of every meal. so delicious – we wanted to try the bread pudding as we read amazing reviews and it looked sooo good, but our stomachs couldn’t handle more LOL – another excuse to come back another day – amazing amazing – MAKE RESERVATIONS LOL – we waited, patiently, and it was soooooo worth it !!!!! one last thing, we are natives to Miami, Fl and we moved to New York for about 5 years, we just moved back to florida Jan 2023 residing in Cape Coral, FL and were missing a piece of what we once called home, and let me tell you, STRAIGHT FROM NYC BABY!!!!!!!! DELICIOUS as can be! even the ambiance of the restaurant was as if you were in NYC, only difference IN FLORIDA BABY!!!!! YOU WONT REGRET YOUR DECISION!
