A great little pizza joint in downtown Freeport. A different style of pizza with their own twist. They also have their own line of beers. Family friendly with slices of pizza ready for a takeaway or order a full pie. They have a selection of bowls to choose from. Take a peek at their menu, which is on their website. Lots of parking to choose from curb side or a parking garage nearby.

A brewery with no beer? Arrived on a Monday night and they had plenty of seating for us. However when we went to order many of the food options we tried to order they did not have and your choice of alcohol was their single stout or a rose wine…I’ve never been to a “brewery” with so little beer. The food came reasonably quickly and all tasted good, however my father had ordered the crispy chicken bowl and it came out as a pork bowl instead possibly the Mayan bowl which we had been told they did not have. Overall we got fed with good food in a reasonable time but was an odd experience overall.

Great place for lunch in Freeport, close to outlet stores. My husband had sausage, feta and banana pepper pizza which was very tasty. Good crust – crispy outside and soft inside. I had the crispy pork banh mi bowl which was surprisingly filling and delicious. Lots of slow roasted pork crisped to perfection with rice, kimchee, cucumber and more. Seemed like an odd choice in a place mainly known for pizza but it was very good!

Excellent food, beer, and on tap Prosecco! We ate cheese and pepperoni slices (perfect for our kids), the Japanese rice bowl, cheese fries, and Cesar salad (larger than expected). The beer was an excellent IPA. It was a kid friendly space with lots of families and easy to get into with out stroller. Only issue was that there wasn’t enough staff, though the staff there were great and working hard!

The Blueberry Pizza is literally an experience. Local brews to pair with your pizza make it a great choice for lunch or casual dinner. The only regret you’ll have is that there will definitely be more eclectic options than your appetite will allow you to explore. Peach Basil, Sweet Potato Goat cheese, or mashed potato pizza….? I wanna try them all. But I’ll need to become a regular.

This is the second Brickyard Hollow location I have visited. The first being their Portland Commercial Street location. So I had a general idea of what to expect before coming here, but unlike Portland (more sit down restaurant/bar style) this is a walk up order at the counter pizza shop. They had plenty of staff and it did not take too long to order despite some in front of us seeming very unsure of their order. The food was also cooked and brought out to us in a timely manner so no complaints about the service. We ordered their bacon beer cheese fries and I highly recommend this to share with your group. Secondly we got a large of their monthly special pizza; Fried Chicken & Waffles (in collaboration with Butcher Burger). At all their greater Portland area locations every month they team with another local restaurant to create a special pie that a dollar from each one sold goes to end childhood food insecurity. This was easily one of the best pizzas I have had in quite some time. Perfect balance of sweet from maple syrup and waffles and savory fried chicken goodness. I’m glad it’s a special for a limited time otherwise I’d have a problem ordering it too often. Lastly, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is their beers. Being a brewery from Maine is a tough competition as there are so many breweries that make world class beers and Brickyard Hollow just does not reach that quality. By no means are they bad beers, just lack that wow factor or taste that makes me want to get their beers again. They pair decently well with the food though. Overall nice spot with friendly staff and tasty food with average brews. I slightly prefer the Portland location but plan to check out the other locations in the future.

Fabulous pizza in a very convenient location! The pizza was top notch, from the crust to the quality of the cheese and toppings used. I also appreciated the variety of pizza they offer, very different from the normal fair. Pretty decent beer selection as well. The staff was above and beyond polite and professional too, which is always nice! Even more unexpected was the loaded fries. It’s fantastic, definitely worth getting this!

Waiter was nice and talked with us, the food was awesome and it wasn’t loud but it wasn’t too quiet.
