I loved it. At first it was not busy, then suddenly everyone started coming in and had a full restaurant. The service was amazing, great attitude you could tell it was busy but that didn’t stop them from smiling. It was a great team. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and it was amazing. Food was good from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere was great, from decor to music . Very affordable. Clean restaurant.

We ate lunch here served by very helpful Sanyi who guided us through the full but simply laid out menu. At lunch they have specials and beer/wine for $4. We enjoyed the area blanco with pulled chicken (a little crispy on the base and served with three delicious sauces), a shrimp salad and cazuela Pacifico (a creamy seafood stew with fish, shrimp, calamari, mussels) with rice. The passion fruit topped custard for dessert was amazingly smooth with the right amount of tartness. While it was quiet at lunchtime, there is a long bar, small dance floor near the band’s setup and it is well decorated. Recommended.

Our waitress Maria C. was a joy! She checked up on us often and was happy to answer any questions we had about dishes. The food was delicious and definitely worth the price. If you’re in South Beach, don’t miss Bolivar. And ask for Maria!!
