We had a wonderful time on a Saturday night. We were surprised that we could get a reservation and were equally surprise how great a time we had. The pianist/singer was outstanding, food was great and the staff was attentive and nice….we both got a hug as we were leaving; how much better could it be! Do yourself a favor and head hear for dinner and drinks!

This fine dining experience is at the heart of Savannah in every sense of the word. How lucky I was to find this hidden gem as it’s truly a gift to the locals, tourists and patrons of all ages. The atmosphere comfortably rocks with the lovely & talented pianist and each staff member so proudly reflects the pride of all that this restaurant represents. Absolutely A+ phenomenal & the chef is a gifted culinary artist.

My family loved the ambience here…live piano music and a quiet, private, ambience. The staff was so friendly, and most of the clientele seemed local. Janae, our waitress, was particularly kind to our son, and the manager came out to give us hugs as we left. The mahi, crab cakes, and squash soup were all delicious. A great date restaurant.

Food was GREAT but EXPERIENCE was AWFUL. Seated promptly then ignored by waitstaff for 20 minutes. Meal delivery took another 30 minutes. We were a partly of 4 and all the meals came out at different times. Then what was served was different than what was described on the menu and this was a major issue due to dietary restrictions one of us have.

On vacation and in Savannah for one day and wanted to take my girlfriend to a nice dinner since we were going to a show at the theatre. We planned to go here and as we entered there were signs for the fine dining upstairs so they definitely could have put signs letting people know the restaurant would be closed for a private party. I own a restaurant in Arizona and the way we were turned away was so far from fine dining that I can’t believe this owner makes money. The women who told us we would not be dining there tonight was so rude and not to mention barley understandable as she mumbled I didn’t know if it was because we were a hay couple or why we were being turned away. It took a guess telling us they were there for a private party for us to understand because when I approached staff down stairs they didn’t even know what or why we would have been turned away. What a joke!!

We called Billy’s Place to request a carry out order for my brother who Is spending his last days in Savannah Hospice. He reminisces about starting his evening at Billy’s Place and finishing at the symphony. Janice was SO accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. I can’t tell you how much this pleased our family and surprised our brother. The food was fantastic and the only thing that could have made this more enjoyable would be to have the entire staff there with us. Thank you for making special memories for us all.

We stumbled across Billy’s on our way to the Savannah Theatre. I am so glad we did. Our waitress, Zseanae, was amazing. She helped us choose great cocktails, and she was just wonderful all around. We felt like family by the time we left, and we will definitely be going back next time we are in Savannah.

Was in Savannah for a reunion with girlfriends when we accidentally found this amazing place. The entire evening was awesome. Our server, Zanea , was great and a very talented singer! We loved the music and entertainment provided by Nancy Witt. This will definitely be a repeat destination for us in the future as the entire evening was one of our favorites of our many travels and evenings out. Thanks!

My friends mother made a reservation the evening before for a group of 10 going to see a show. The lady on the phone taking the reservation did not mention restaurant week and the mother is not from here. The group of us sit at our table and noticed one menu ( the restaurant week menu). We politely asked if we could have another menu and the waitress explained its restaurant week so this is the menu. The out of town folks asked if they can order just an app and what would the price be. The waitress proceeded to get the “manager”. The manager came up very abrupt and said “what’s the problem”. The mother of my friend stated she was unaware of restaurant week occurring and this was the only menu available. She expressed her concerns of how the lady taking the reservation the night before did not display that information. The manager rudely stated “ it’s always restaurant week this time of year” and we told her well they are not from here. We proceeded to take out group and leave. Additionally, we found out the head chef walked out that evening as well.

Down right the worst dining experience of my life. Company party of 14 with reservation made a week in advance. When we arrived we learned only a fixed limited menu was available. Due to having advance reservation we asked if it was possible to order from the regular menu. After going back and forth the waitstaff said we could. Shortly after we learned one of cook had walked out after argument we clearly heard between the wait staff and them. Between drama from the staff, empty drinks, stale bread, sporatic arrival of salads & cold entrees (one guest waited over 45 minutes for his meal and ate alone) I can’t imagine things going any worse. For an establishment that considers itself fine dining I’m baffled at the poor execution of simple food & beverage industry tasks that you come to expect at basic franchise restaurants. To top it off we were patronized with the offer of complimentary drinks when the alcohol was the least of our concern. My $35.00 steak was on par with the quality served at waffle house. Maybe this was just a bad night. As we weren’t the only group who had issues this evening (other groups waited hours for their meals, and some just left after being neglected), I can’t imagine this experience was some fluke.
