I’m a local just to start off the conversation and review. I love walking to Belles on a week day morning for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. This morning the waitress was so kind and saw that my dog needed more water than I prepared for after a much hotter walk than I thought it would be. She got us and the table next to us (2 dogs there) water as well.

Café located in Newport shipyard serving breakfast and lunch with a view. We had breakfast -Everything the party order was delicious including croissant & mimosas with fresh OJ. Our server Kelsey was very friendly and attentive! They don’t take reservations so you will likely have a little bit of a wait the working environment is very cool and there is a shop to buy some safe harbor swag. It’s all mostly outdoor so dress for the temp, it can get windy

Glad I viewed the google reviews prior to coming. It was worth the brief walk over from our hotel. It is located off the beaten path and we were unsure if we were in the eighth area but we found this gem nonetheless. The breakfast menu is limited, but all of the options were tasty. The service was incredible and rounded out the experience.

Love love love this place. Not only is the service quick and you’re well taken care of, but the food is really good! Don’t skip on their hot cocoa on cold days. Their whipped cream is made in shop and tastes amazing. Their eggs Benedict is great and their potatoes are so wonderfully seasoned. Prices are low for the area and especially for what you get.

Such a pleasant experience. The food was wonderful, especially the perfectly ripe fruit!! We got regular and crab benedicts and shared a pancake – all cooked perfectly and with the right amount of flavor. Also appropriate portions. The ambiance of being right on the marina added to the experience. The hostess was working hard helping bus tables to move things along faster! Everyone was helpful and efficient. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped at this café for breakfast during our day trip in Newport Road Island. Weekends are busy except to wait 30 plus minutes or place your order online. Once arrived you can pick up your order and eat outside. Pros: Our waitress was nice; food was good (kudos to the chef/cook), nice location and scenery, outdoor seatings. Cons: Obnoxious hostess, dirty utensils (yuck, always double check the forks; found gunks) . Gave this place 3 starts for the food and 2 starts for service. I guess there’s a shortage in hiring good staff.

The best breakfast we had in Newport along with a nice view of the boats. Good to eat there or take away. The service was great and the quality of the food even better. The portion sizes are nice for the price. We got a few different plates, including daily specials, and everyone enjoyed all their meals. Will be back for sure.
