Very disappointed with the fried calamari. At one time, I considered it to be one of the best places to get fried calamari. This cafe is associated with Abalonetti Bar & Grill next door. Sad to say it but the batter was undercooked and all the calamari was very chewy. I would say this was possibly an off day for the cooks but this has happened more than once. At these prices I would try somewhere else.

My husband and I took a trip to Monterey we were craving fried calamari went to this place for some, we were eating and all of a sudden my husband finds a long black hair in one of the pieces of calamari gross!!! They replaced our calamari but we took it to go because we lost our appetite WATCH OUT FOR THE HAIR IN THE FOOD WHEN EATING HERE!! what a shame food looked so good
