The brisket was tender and cooked well. However, the way it was prepared and served was not impressive. We were given a small portioned sandwich that only had a few pieces of coleslaw. The bun did not hold together. I ended up using a fork to eat the sandwich and adding my own BBQ sauce and some pickles. The BBQ sauce the restraunt provided was way too liquefied. The consistency was more like a marinade than a sauce. We also ordered the brisket burrito. Even though it held together better, it was small. We are not big people, and yet we did not leave with a full stomach. The cashiers were very attentive, but the cook staff was slow to the window. Overall, I’d say this restraunt is in need of improvements that will include larger portions and better quality.

This place is amazing. I’ve been here twice now, today being the second time. The food is always on point. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Makes you feel at home here. Plus. Looks to be in an old Wendy’s building. Ordered the daily special (x4) which consisted of pulled pork sandwiches, 1 side, and a fountain drink since we were in a hurry. Much to everyone’s surprise it took about 20 minutes for the food to come out. The pork was nice. I couldn’t tell if the sauce was homemade or watered down Sweet Baby Rays but that would be the best store bought sauce so no complaints. The bottom bun was completely soaked through so the kitchen needs to figure out their timing. I would try it again if I’m in the area and have a long time to eat.

Wonderful and wonderful people. Ate some brisket and ribs with the family and the staff always asked if the food was to our liking and if we needed anything else. Absolutely wonderful. 10/10 get your meat hot ️ ️ ️ it’s soooo good.

The absolutely best BBQ we’ve had. We came in with a group of 8, 5 adults & 3 children, we were treated like family. The food is phenomenal, the prices are great, and the options are plentiful. The owners where there and they were awesome. Best Greens we’ve ever had. The chicken quarter was perfect. Everyone else really enjoyed it as well. What a great little gem to find if you are traveling through Wilmington. We will definitely make the drive to come again and again.

Best barbecue I’ve had in a while! Way better than those chain type BBQ brisket melted in your mouth and was soo tender! Ribs were huge and filling! Definitely recommend! Everything was affordable too for a good meal and you got a lot!!!

Staff is very friendly. Pulled pork BBQ was delicious. Unfortunately the ribs were extra burnt like chewing on beef jerky. Cole slaw was absolutely amazing! I’d prefer less burnt ribs but other then that good food. Thank you I’ll return again.

It was suggested to me by my followers to visit this establishment in Wilmington Ohio next time I travel through. Today I had the chance to make this a reality. Not disappointed at all as this quaint little BBQ restaurant serves up the most delicious BBQ brisket I’ve had in a long time this close to the Gem City. The management and staff are so helpful and kind. The amazingly delicious food is served up with great presentation at just the right temperatures. The menu offers a diverse selection of good comfort foods while allowing you to choose your heat flavor mild, medium, and hot. If you’re ever near this location, you have try one of their amazing dishes.
