A Hidden Gem in Leominster!
We stopped by Brady’s Restaurant at 37 Mechanic Street in Leominster, MA — and I’m so glad we did!
When we walked in, we were directed to the back room and invited to sit wherever we felt most comfortable. The space was absolutely adorable! I loved the cozy vibe, the plants, and the soft, ambient lighting — such a relaxing atmosphere.
The lunch menu was fantastic, offering a great variety of tempting choices. I went with the chicken gnocchi with spinach in a savory gravy sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the caramelized pear salad, which looked as good as it tasted — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
While we waited, we started with an appetizer of the jumbo bone-in chicken wings — YUM! Perfectly cooked and so flavorful.
The entire restaurant was spotless — very clean and well-kept. You can make reservations online or by phone, but we just walked in for lunch and had no problem being seated.
A special shoutout to Ashley, the bartender, who also took our lunch order. She was so pleasant and welcoming — a total gem! And wow… can she make a drink! We had her espresso martinis, which were perfectly crafted and hit the spot.
Highly recommend Brady’s for a cozy lunch, great food, and amazing service. We’ll definitely be back!
Having given several days’ notice, he prepared an exquisite four-course dining experience that we’ve never experienced before (and being foodies, we’ve eaten at many high-cuisine restaurants).
He paired each course with a selected wine. And topped it off with a dessert platter which, even though we were absolutely full, was so delicious that we finished that plate too!
There are multiple veg options on the main menu, but these custom offerings were beyond belief (and only a half hour from Worcester and an hour from Boston)
Our waitperson was exquisite and paid attention to detail.
Do make reservations by phone to request this special treatment.
Wonderful food.
Update: June 2025 – Fixed-menu Vegetarian Extravaganza (new photos). Incredibly delicious and high-cuisine… multi-course all vegetarian (by request). The chef outdid himself.
Edit from our most recent visit April 2, 2024: added some dessert images and:
We had a disagreement about which dessert is the best. We ordered all of them and the consensus was the sticky toffee pudding and the pistachio cheesecake were must haves. There wasn’t agreement as to which on was the preferred. Definitely come with a separate dessert stomach, or simply leave room by taking your entrees home. The chocolate cake was astounding as well. The crème Brule was wonderful, but the other desserts were spectacular.
I defy anyone to explain how the Vegan Alfredo Carbonara is really vegan as it tastes rich and creamy. It simply is difficult to believe this is not cream and cheese. It is stocked full of vegetables. If Chef Bill says it is vegan, it most certainly is! This dish is a national treasure. Of course, we forgot to take an image.
I am so happy there is food at this high quality level in Central Massachusetts.
The Spicy Beef Satay – Peanut and Bang Bang Sauces – This was my favorite part of the entire meal. I would order more of these for my meal next time! Amazing
The French onion soup was also above expectations. Wonder presentation in a cast iron bowl and freshly melted cheese. Simple comfort food done perfect.
The dry aged NY Strip was much less than I expected. They correctly cooked it as requested (Rare) and it came with some asparagus. I like more fat and seasoning on my steaks. It was a perfectly acceptable choice, but I would order something else next time.
We had gelato for dessert. It was much worse than expected. My pistachio did not taste at all like pistachio. My guest had salted Carmel and they had some portions that showed freezer burn (or frost). There are many better dessert options from what the waitress offered.
