We have eaten here multiple times. Even though the name does not make it completely clear I am sure this place serves South African food and it is extremely good. It is located inside of the Chattahoochee works food court.

Maybe I got the wrong thing. Sausage Rice and collard greens was not it. Disclaimer- my wife brought this home so I wouldn’t have even ordered that. She said it came with mac & cheese, but they switched it to collard greens. They mentioned they could cook them right now for her which is a sign. No collard greens should be cooked on the spot. Lol at least not the southern country collard greens but they may make them their way which is not favorable to me. They were chewy greens. The rice is nothing special, it’s just rice folks. The sausage looked light skin and it was basic. Looked like a college meal. I was mad she brought this home. I looked at the reviews and people love it here. Makes me want to come here to pick something different.

I haven’t had the salad yet but Chicken Peri Peri and the Mac & Cheese are game changing! Chicken Peri Peri is cooked and seasoned wonderfully and sits on a bed of rice with some fire pickled carrots. If you want an explosion of flavor and / or a “comfort meal” def go with the Mac & Cheese though. The sauce on it is insane, you won’t be disappointed! If you’re lucky you may be able to catch a different menu via their food truck aswell!

This was my first time trying South African food. I got the sasoties. It was an interesting combination of food but it was really good! It was lamb skewers, apricots, mac and cheese and rice. It was a decent amount of food. I would definitely recommend if you want to try something different!

After wrapping up showing a buyer some nearby new construction, I decided to introduce him to the many lunch options that have popped up over the last six months inside The Chattahoochee Food Works. After walking through to consider the options we chose Baked Kitchen. Both of us went with The Chicken Peri. It was delicious and buss’n with flavor but the fries were room temperature – a surprise seeing we waited over 15 minutes, with no customers in front of us.. The small sandwich and handful of fries was a bit pricy for 15 bucks. Delicious though.. We’ll return to try that mac n cheese next.

Tried South African food for the first time. I’m glad that it was this place. Hands down the best thing that I’ve tried in a long time. The chef’s father explained everything to me and let me taste the sauce. I got the Chicken Peri Peri Skewers. Highly recommend!!!!
