Excellent little joint that I came across serving through South Carolina. The gentleman working there was extremely nice. He recommended the curry chicken or chicken stew. I got the combo of both with the rice and beans. The chicken were stewed on its bones so the flavor had depth and just delicious. Would highly recommend.

I passed this restaurant on the way to work. I decided to stop by. I was optimistic due to the reviews online. I was expecting fresh Jamaican food but instead I could hear my food being warmed up in the microwave. (Ding) I may have came when they were slow and that’s why my food wasn’t fresh. The drink was really good and so was the service. I don’t think I would go back the food was ok but nothing I just have to have.

I drove an hour to eat here and it was soooo worth it! Amazing food, a good variety of Jamaica/Caribbean sodas and excellent customer service. The curry goat is superb! Check this place out!

If you aren’t stopping in here you’re making a big mistake! We ordered the brown stew chicken and oxtail with a side of festival. I normally get jerk chicken but asked for a recommendation for something new and the kind gentleman suggested the brown stew chicken. That recommendation was The flavor was incredible and when I tell you the meat melted off the bone you better believe it! The stew flavor worked it’s way into the beans and rice and it was simply incredible. My first time having festival and it was great compliment too. Just a hint of sweetness to the dough, fresh, warm, and crispy. The oxtail was also crazy good. All this and the gentleman was just so happy and kind. You can tell he really loves what he does – making people happy with great tasting food. That love comes across in the warm interaction and flavorful food. I wish we weren’t just happening through the area so we could give this place more love. Y’all gotta stop in – you will not be disappointed!

Decided to stop by on our way back to Florida from North Carolina, and the food was AMAZING. The authenticity of the stew peas reminded of home. Oxtails were tender and cooked just right. Will be stopping by again when it’s time for another road trip.

Worth making the u turn because I did a double take when I was driving by and saw the Jamaican flag. From the moment we walked we were greeted and warmly welcomed in. I had the chicken soup to warm me up and it was top 5 best I’ve ever had. My mom sampled the jerk chicken and it’s authentic drum pan outdoor made jetrk chicken. If you know, you know, it makes a BIG difference. I’ll be adding this to my list of go-to places in South Carolina.
