Famous house crab dip must be famous for no crab. Like mouthfuls of room temperature sour cream with no seasoning. Although the baguette was good. Waitress told us the crab is blended. What does that even mean?! Crab cake was like a grocery store bargain backfin lots of filler disappointment. Ordered a ribeye medium and was served a NY strip well done. Some of the shrimp were chalky and overcooked. Salad bar and sides were mid, nothing great. Waitress left for 10-12 minutes before she came back to take our order and the restaurant was 70% empty. Maybe if the lights were turned down and the fireplace was lit and there was music playing this place would have some atmosphere.

Quality is excellent here. They do a great job. I was surprised with the pizza being as good as it was at a “non-pizza place” the bottom was nice and crisp, just as it should be. I also recommend the chesapeake burger. You can almost pick anything on the menu- it’s surprising how well they can cook things properly, consistently. They must have strict recipe rules

Our waitress was Liz. She was so very kind. Can’t say enough great things about her. Food was delicious and prices were great. We got the buy one get one half off appetizers. Firecracker shrimp, jumbo wings, crab dip and fresh cut cheddar bacon fries with house made ranch. Will definitely be back!!

Stopped in for dinner and was greeted by Liz! She was so welcoming when we walked in and she provided impeccable service throughout our dinner. We had the Fireside wings (previously Trackside wings) and a monster crab cake sandwich and both were excellent!! Highly recommend both! Will be back soon! Request Liz when you dine in!!!

This is the second year we’ve come here for the Thanksgiving buffet. I feel guilty for making everyone work, but the food and the service are so amazing.
My parents have mobility issues that prevent them from going to our family homes, so this is perfect for them. We can still gather and they’re comfortable. And there’s something for everyone to eat!
Their turkey is crazy moist, the steaks cooked perfectly, the sides good enough to be a meal in and of themselves! And the staff is so kind and friendly. They made us feel so welcome.
I have got to come here for a regular meal sometime. If a Thanksgiving buffet is this good when they’re swamped with customers, when it’s a little less frenetic I bet it’ll be even better!

The restaurant had a promo for AYCE Crabs leg $49, normally $59. First trip legs were watery, 2&3 trip much better. Also had a NY Strip med rare. Cooked exactly how I ordered and was delicious. Service was excellent. Attentive and courteous.

We had thanksgiving buffet here this year. It was one of the worst meals and set ups I have ever endured at a buffet. Mini crab cakes were no crab just breading and they were crumbles no cake about it. It was advertised as new York strip steak cooked to order. Your waitress showed up at your table stated you have a steak that comes with your meal how do you want it? The steaks came out 3 ordered rare 2 ordered medium. They were so well done you could not cut them. The steak was a 3×3 piece of grissel and fat with little meat around the edges. All 5 of us threw them away. They had boneless sliced ham that was cut two or three days earlier and so dry the edges were rolled. We had shrimp as the only other protein choice thank God it is hard to mess up shrimp. Literally the only thing edible on the buffet. The layout was awful. Lids on everything and no where to put them while you got food out. The line was horribly long because of the juggling act going on at the buffet. $40 a person

About a year ago we went in and they asked if we had a reservation. We did not but seated us in the bar area which was fine. Absolutely loved it! Fried shrimp, steamed shrimp, crab legs, shepherds pie along with a lot of other food. So went in tonight and said no reservation needed. I now no why…Took us right in. No fried shrimp. They brought us our crab legs. They were brown not red and tasted terrible. I’ve never had bad tasting crab legs. I showed him the brown ” wormy” looking stuff inside
He brought us more. At least red but not much better. Shrimp was good but I asked for ketchup. Finally I got up and asked someone. He brought me an empty one. Our waiter kept forgetting stuff. The hushpuppies had a nasty taste. And under cooked. At checkout we told manager all about it our experience and she mentioned the oil being changed for a more healthier kind. We’ll im burping this nasty tasting ” healthier” oil. She never offered anything off our bill. $135 for 2 people and we left there completely unsatisfied. We will not go back. If you no longer need a reservation and have no wait time, that tells me business has dropped off. Why change something that was working before????

I personally would NOT recommend this restaurant due to quality of food for the cost. We ordered our food for pickup for an at home family game night.
Mercedes politely answered the phone with a smile in her voice and patiently took our order for 6 people. The cost was just over $230 before tip. There was absolutely NOTHING that any of us truly enjoyed about our order. We did call the restaurant to lend feedback and we were told that Zach would likely call us back, however it’s been a few days and we still haven’t heard anything.

• Crab Imperial was loaded with shells (far too many to eat it) and loaded with filler
• Stuffed Chicken was very DRY!
• Blackened Chicken Pasta (chicken) very dry
• Crab Cakes were okay, however, the bottoms were BURNT pretty bad and it threw off the taste throughout about half of the Crab Cake
• Whole pizza is very tiny thin crust grocery store quality
• Prices are approximately $20-$35pp
