Probably the Best sushi I’ve had! We asked Ben what his suggestion was and he said his special so we chose to let him pick 4 rolls. I don’t like spicy but I LOVED all of his rolls including the ones with Jalapenos! We will for sure be back!

My wife and daughter and I just finished eating here and it was wonderful. The restaurant looks great and the service was very good. Greeted with a lemon grass warm towel to cleanse our hands was a really nice touch. All three of us loved our food. I had a nuke town roll and various nigiri all was excellent! My daughter had the bacon roll and really enjoyed it so much that she finished it quickly! I would definitely recommend this sushi restaurant. Best sushi I have had in quite awhile! Update we ate here last night so 3 years later and it’s not the same…..it was average to fair food wise and even less so for service.

You HAVE to try the salmon on the beach roll. I loved the experience of watching them torch it, and it was the best roll I think I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering writing this. And the staff was super nice! My credentials is that I’m an avid seafood and sushi eater around the states.

I have eaten here twice, with similar experiences. I came with my two young children so baring that in mind our experience was very comparable to a cheaper sushi restaurant. I would say if your looking for sushi to dine elsewhere and pay less.

In a nutshell… one of the best sushi joints we’ve been to! Being from California, this place rivals some of the best we’ve encountered EVER. We both had their rolls, fresh and tasty. Hate to say it, the sushi guy is a red head. Not your stereotypical sushi chef. He makes a dam good roll!

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, and even better service! We enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Seaweed salad, charashi meal and pork belly ramen were big hits! We also enjoyed a nice bottle of sake. We recommend Yagu to anyone who loves a fresh and filling meal.

We eat sushi wherever our travels take us. Being from Hawaii- I’d have to say that the sushi is wonderful. Hamachi and unagi were well prepared- benefits of an experienced sushi chef. Dinner time does get busy (Saturday night) however, having arrived before the crowd around 6PM- we were able to sit at the sushi bar and order before the dining room filled (it was empty before our arrival).

My second time here wasn’t great (I dont remember my first). My order was wrong which I know people have days and that’s fine but I had a feeling my waiter misunderstood me so I checked in and he said that he did write unagi don down and not a roll but I ended up getting a roll anyway. When I got my bowl the eel was just gross and mushy.. the presentation was pretty though. But I’d rather go somewhere else next time.

Being my first and last time here, I think this might have been the worst quality for value I’ve ever had at a restaurant. About 20 dollars for a disappointingly average sushi roll, and the same price for mushy eel in a bowl of rice. I suppose the price was for the nice presentation, but I went hoping for a good meal more than a fancy plate. I would rather have bought that cheap sushi in the plastic plates you can find at a supermarket if I knew what I was paying for.

We went before the movies and it was great. The food was delicious. I love the new menu. Our waitress was awesome, and she had a lot of knowledge about the menu. I would definitely go back.
