These people always make you feel at home. I am from Louisiana and live in mississippi and still get my Louisiana dishes like red beans, roast beef, and all sorts of other foods that i never even heard of. Renee is so very sweet and makes the most delicious desserts and coffee! The shop is located inside of a shopping center with amazing things to shop around for while you wait for your coffee!! If I never have a cup of coffee again, I know that I have had the best at Lagniappe. Owner Scott East will brew you a cup of unbelievable Lavazza coffee any way you want it. The cake of the day was raspberry and lemon and the chicken salad choices are out of this world: sweet hot chic, the big easy, who dat, and mardi gras. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly and you’re always hearing a laugh or two. This is a great place to go for breakfast and lunch! Nothing beats that southern hospitality.
