Quaint find next to Kahler Inn and suites. The establishment is quite small with only one table for seating but opens into the hotel foyer. Drinks are reasonably priced and taste very good. Staff was efficient courteous and helpful. I will frequent them again.

Even though the names of the specialty coffees for the holiday are confusing, the people at the shop straighten things out. I didn’t realize that there was an eggnog coffee which I really enjoy so they gave me some eggnog to put in my peppermint chocolate latte. It was very good that way. The next day I had the eggnog which again was very good. It is not too noggy and not too coffee. Remember that they have a dark chocolate option which is exceptional when substituted for the chocolate in the peppermint lattes.

This Caribou is across the street from the Mayo Clinic. The employees at this location see customers on the worst or best days of their lives and have to deal with it all, yet they remain kind and compassionate. I, for one, ordered my coffee with oat milk and only after getting the coffee did I realize I had a test later that day requiring that if I drank coffee, it had to be black (no milk or sugar). I went back to the counter and they replaced the order kindly understanding my dilemma. …and when they turned their back I left a nice tip in the jar.

The coffee is decent. Often busy since right across the street from a Mayo building, but the lines are short and you can get a table in the afternoon. There are couches and armchairs in the lobby of the hotel that shares the space. A bit noisy.

I have been visiting this cafe for past 1 year almost on a daily basis and I have noticed a deterioration in the quality of their brewed coffee. I used to love their Daybreak brewed coffee and in the past this Cafe used to brew it right (I wasn’t able to replicate their nice strong taste at home). However, since last 2 months I have noticed that their drip coffee is way too watered down 🙁 It doesn’t taste strong and delicious like it once used to …. Me and my colleagues feel we are drinking Hot Water with very little taste of coffee 🙁 I hope the store can fix this. I really miss those winter mornings when their Daybreak Drip Coffee used to be nice, strong and brewed just right.
