First, look at the price. You may think it’s a little high for a skewer. However, the yakitori is really well prepared. Taste really good. My wife and I got a bar seat and got to see the chef make the yakitori. Kudos to him, seeing all the orders and smoke. The chef ran out to tell us that there was no Uber on the street the restaurant is located. Great service and definitely worth a try.

I’m glad we were able to try this place out. When walking in there, you can already feel it’s going to be good. We ordered a variety of items to share and everyone ended up satisfied. Everything that we ordered tasted great. Some of the standouts include the watercress salad, tsukune, sukiyaki, corn karaage, miso ribs and donburi. The skewers were cooked over a special wood in the counter area. I would come here again and may try to get a seat at the counter to see all the action.

The food is amazing here!! Everything is cooked to perfection and they have a really great selection of choices. We went here to celebrate our anniversary, and had a great experience. Really loved the Chawanmushi and the variety of yakitori selections. Everything was delicious and delicately seasoned.

Foods are tasty. So juicy and well seasoned. Beef tongue is a bomb. The pork and egg york are a great match. 1 Point off for being paying $70 per person and not feeling full at all. I don’t eat much. Might be a good place for you to order just a few food and drink with your friends to kill time

Live there steam clam and the Yakitori chicken wing. So delicious. Pork belly was a bit hard to chew. Fried chicken wings were too salty. The chicken ramen was okay. There were not many non alcoholic drinks so we just had ice water. Overall very good vibe of izakaya. Reminds me of Japan a ton. Decent Yakitori and not bad the price. Would probably go again if I’m in Honolulu.

I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for years. Consistently great, quality food. Superb Yakitori, Dassai 45 sake, excellent service. I recommend ordering the course, makes it easy (and the goods just keep on coming). This place feels like being in Tokyo.

Currently, reservations are needed if you want to dine here, we booked it about a week in advance. It’s located in Chinatown so parking was pretty hard to find, took us about 20 minutes to look for parking on a Friday night. Once there though, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it. Good music was playing and you could see all the chefs working on the dishes.
