I do not recommend this place at all. I can’t speak on the food because long story short, our food never came out. My sister, mother, and myself visited Xolo (all first timers) before seeing a movie down the street so we had about an hour and a half to make it to the movie. We just wanted some drinks and tacos. Our waitress was great. She was busy but still attentive with drinks. We ordered our food and after about 45 minutes noticed everyone around us had food, even those who were sat later than us. It was clear that some mistake was made in the kitchen. Her attentiveness throughout the night made us think the mistake was not on her, as we really liked her. We finally tell the waitress we will be late to our movie if we don’t close our tab so we must go. She’s very apologetic and the manager comes over to us with a frown face asking if we’ll be back. Obviously not sir, we are leaving your restaurant starving. The worst part is we get handed a bill for $100. As someone who works in the business I would’ve comped a drink or two due to the crucial mistakes made. That’s just what you do. So I nicely go to the manager and tell him it’s bad business on his part and he tries to offer me a gift card. I told him that I don’t want a gift card because why would I ever come back here. What really got me is he gave the waitress a look as if it was her fault. The owner really rubbed me, my mother, and my sister wrong so for that reason I will never spend my money there again.

Really terrific food and service. Went here for a party in the upstairs room and it was a really nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and fresh and we all had a great time. There’s a small parking lot out front and street parking is available all around.

I’m giving it two stars and the reason is because the drinks were actually pretty good, but I waited over an hour for my food and never got the chance to try it. We watched every table who came in after us get their food while we sat with nothing on our table.. for over an hour! The worst part wasn’t even the wait but the way the manager acted. Our server was very sympathetic about the entire situation but when we told the manager we needed to cancel our food and get the check due to having movie tickets, he immediately tried to blame the server while she was defending herself. He was speaking to everyone as if they were toddlers. After that he handed us a $75 check for 6 drinks. No offers to comp anything due to the wait. When I confronted him about that, he began arguing with his server and tried to give me a gift card. I expressed that I would not be back based on my experience and he handed me a new bill while walking away yelling “I do this with 3 every night.”

We’ve been coming here for years the owner knows our faces! Margaritas and sangrias are yummy and not to expensive. The burritos and shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had no other restaurant compares both in and outside of PA!

Both myself and my husband got meals with octopus and it didn’t taste right. We let the waiter know the fish tasted like it went bad but did nothing about it. We didn’t eat most of the meal and still got charged, didn’t want to make a big deal since we were with a large group but will not be going back. Very disappointed

Great food, great staff, great ambiance, and most importantly great service. They also have good vegetarian options, a diverse menu, and delicious margaritas. It’s about as authentic Mexican food I’ve had since moving from California. This place is tucked away and almost hidden with a tiny parking lot.

The food was great! We were celebrating a birthday we had a large party and service was awesome. We ordered almost everything on the menu the pork fajita and beef empanadas were my favorites.
