Wow that is some good food! I tried the knoephla soup which was delicious. I also had the poutine and asked if they could put some sliced brat on it, which they did. Absolutely fantastic! I sat at the bar, and the service was top notch! My server was very friendly and helpful. If you’re in downtown Fargo, this is definitely worth stopping in.

An excellent concept well executed. It’s a brewhall atmosphere with excellent food and a nice variety of craft brew beers on tap.

So I was between a four star and three star post and tipped the tie to four stars since I can’t give a 3.5.

Very cool place, for some reason had difficulty finding it with Google maps, got close and a local directed me in the rest of the way. Nice old stone structure turned into a bar/restaurant but still kept a little of the olden days to it which I liked. Music was good, staff on point but not overbearing -like a finely tuned engine. Ordered the spaetzl Mac n cheese with Polish, excellent. Washed it down with a Fargo Iron horse IPA. Left there feeling like I accomplished something significant. All in all a good experience.

Got the Exotic Pheasant sausage, and when it came out, the sausage was maybe 4 inches long. About 1 1/2 inches of bun with nothing on each side. Taste was good, but very disappointed with the size of the meal for the cost. $16 could go a long ways to get sausages from an actual meat store. Will consider other places to eat. Very disappointing.

Good beer selection. If you’re looking for a casual place with a typical German menu, this works. The spaetzel mac and cheese is yummy.

How could you not like a beer and bacon pairing? It was so yummy and a perfect amount for a mid-afternoon snack. Dog-friendly patio was a plus!

The food was excellent! The atmosphere was excellent! And the service was excellent/terrific. We had the sausage platter (Polish, Philly, and bratwurst) with giant pretzel, German potato salad, and grilled cabbage, kraut, onions, peppers. Great value. Great taste.
