Surprisingly good. We stopped here for a quick bite and we were actually really impressed. The food was delicious and the service was great. Blondie, our server was funny but not in a forced way, she was polite and didn’t hover around or disappear. She was great. The pulled chicken and chopped brisket sandwiches were tasty and the corn had a smokey flavor which made it pop. I’d recommend this place.

When at home I’m always on my grill or smokin something if ya know what I mean.. …so I go a little harsher on some kinds of food bbq being one of them…that being said…since I moved out here more than year ago I have been to a few Sonny’s from Cocoa to Jax to Orlando and beyond, and I will say I think they are a fair deal. I think you get a good amount for the price and it’s always good, never disappointed. It’s not knock your socks off, buts it’s good ol fashioned BBQ, that you know you’ll enjoy. Plus let’s face it, to all you grillmasters out there, no one is ever gonna be as good as us, right!? When you can’t get to your grill and you don’t wanna drop stupid money for something to eat..Sonny’s is a good solid choice for good eats at a local chain.

Last week my family and I stopped by here on our way to the airport and we are happy we did. The host greeted us with a. Smile and sat us right away. Our server Jen greeted us with the energy we needed to finish the visit in Orlando. She suggested the sweet tea margarita, egg rolls, and the baby backs. We finished off with banana pudding and donut holes. Everything was amazing. The baby backs were fall off the bone. The banana pudding wasn’t too sweet like other places. Made an online order tonight. Chose curbside pickup and they never brought the order to my car. I waited 20 minutes after checking in and nobody came to my car. I walked inside and nobody was at the to-go area. My order was just sitting there. I flagged down a server that handed me my order (even though that wasn’t his department). The girls who were supposed to be at the to-go area were having a conversation to the side behind the swing doors which apparently was more important than doing their job. When I got home, I realized I was not given the cinnamon butter for the baked sweet potato, the drink was wrong, I only received 1/2 the order of ribs and wasn’t given a straw. This place needs to get their act together.

JEN was an EXCELLENT server. She made sure to keep my husband’s food coming. Our food was so delicious. I recommend all their food. You can’t go wrong with any of the meats. And just a heads up to Sonny’s, they should definitely put the loaded tater tots as a all you can eat.
