Had lunch here with my dad because, while he’d hung out at the bar many times through the years, he’d never been to the cafe. I was skeptical but this was a really great spot for a traditional diner experience. The food was homemade and the service was fantastic. I’ve never had my water glass more than half empty and I tend to drain my water very quickly. I ordered the grilled cheese with onion rings and asked if they could add the grilled mushrooms and onions that you can get added to a burger. They were happy to do it and it was very tasty. Dad had the soup of the day, which was a creamy chicken noodle that was made from scratch.

This place delivers like a well run local diner. It was a simple breakfast menu. Server said the bacon is great. She was right. Server was prompt, clear about the offerings, and politely denied abnormal (keto) substitute requests (to be expected). I loved how simple and unassuming this place was. Quality service and simple food.

If you are looking for a cheap breakfast that is pretty decent this is an option. I had a chicken fried steak which was really good and I believe made in house. The menu is pretty basic. Standard breakfast options. Prices are very fair. Four of us were stuffed for $33. Atmosphere isn’t great. It’s very outdated and what you might call a dive. Could be cleaner. Very small place so you may have to wait for a table. I enjoyed my breakfast but not totally sure I’d return. It was full the whole time we were there so it definitely has a following.

The wonder bur cafe has great service. And there food is amazing. Also they have amazing prices and they are one of the cheapest places in grants pass in my opinion. The only problem I would have with them is there homemade cinnamon roll. It might of been the butter but it was pretty bad. But sides that there great!

My husband and I were there last week first time on Sunday. Service was slow only one server who was also bartender next door. Server/bartender did a great job . She acknowledged the new comers a assuring them they would be attended soon. She was always pleasant in the midst of having to do so much. Our meal was perfect! I had an omelet, hash browns and rye toast. Coffee was good too. I don’t drink a lot of coffee (usually only in the morning) but I like full bodied, flavorful coffee. Prices good.

The absolute very best breakfast in town and cheap I eat here as often as possible, breakfast served all day, the lunch items are very good as well I’ve never been disappointed. Bar next door so you can order a drink with your meal. Staff is great wonder Bur is a true grants pass gem!
