Tried Wolf’s for the first time tonight and was gravely disappointed.

Ordered last night. Specifically ordered DeNiro without pesto mayo. Get home with order and it had the pesto mayo. Never ordering again this is the third error with them. Honestly it’s not even worth ordering from them it’s so hit or miss.

This place is amazing by the service alone. The employee named Audrey Krause is so amazing! She had my mozzarella sticks in 2 seconds! The place was clean and tidy. If I could order there a million times and not gain any weight I would cause the food is 10/10!

I ate and highly recommend “The Gritty.” Delicious steak and scrapple sandwich on a long roll with melted cheese on top which tasted amazing! I’ll definitely be back for that! Only downside to dining in was there weren’t any napkins and someone else in my party had wings so it was definitely messy with wing juice and cheese on your face and hands. Maybe they just ran out that day but that is a huge inconvenience.

Just went for my second time and tried the Detroit Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and peppers. Take it from someone who has had this pizza in Michigan, it is first class and hold its own with any in the Motor City. Also, bought a West Coast BLT burger with pork belly, avocado, lettuce and tomato. Excellent sandwich. The staff is friendly and I can’t wait to go again.

First timers here. We did not have a paper menu so we went to their webpage and ordered based off that. It was a bummer because almost any place we call will let us substitute a wrap instead of a roll but they just replied no to the request. Not sure how other places are able to accommodate but that’s fine it’s their place and their rules. So we ordered The Gritty and The DeNiro. I specifically asked the girl what kind of roll they came on. So the subject of rolls came up and at that time it would have been nice to be advised that they are going to charge us $1.50 extra for the seeded roll. When I picked up the sandwiches I was told my total is $30.52. The Wolf’s website states that each sandwich is $12 a piece. So I asked the girl for a receipt. They charged us $14.50 for The De Niro and $13 for The Gritty and 0.50 for pickled onions (we asked for no onions) and a convience fee. I asked the girl about the difference in prices. It literally takes minutes to update your webpage. So I couldn’t understand why there was almost a $5 difference. I can understand paper menus not being up to date but no excuse for your own webpage. She said the convenience fee is when you pay with a credit card and of course I’m looking at her like I just paid you 40 seconds ago with cash? So why are you still charging me for that? I guess there’s no cost of doing business anymore. Then she started blaming everything on a computer upgrade which apparently was over a month ago. So I guess they are going to ride that excuse for as long as they can. The goofy part was I had to ask them for my money back. They weren’t even going to do anything at first. They actually had to call their boss/dad to see if they could refund me the convience fee, onions and seeded roll upcharge. That really should have just been automatic and common sense. He gave them permission to refund me the convenience fee and onions. That was mighty big of him. He said he is not giving me back the $1.50 fee for the roll. He should really make people aware of that before charging them. I think most people find it annoying when a place of business do not honor advertised pricing.

I wish I could give more stars. Their sandwiches are fantastic, & the cheese fries are amazing. I had very good experiences ordering from door dash but when I ordered pickup today it was disappointing. Very disorganized, no credit card, and they forgot the cheese sauce for my fries which is a real bummer as it so good. Also the boardwalk pizza is rather mediocre.

***Do not order delivery*** If Wolffs continue to offer delivery (which I highly suggest ending) don’t do it!!!! I only recommend picking up so you don’t have to go out into the neighborhood to look for you food at 9 pm at night after waiting over an two hours. Cold sandwich was okay (about 40 degrees out so at least it was refrigerated). I have ordered Cocos hundreds of times, and they have shown up every single time. ***Do not order delivery from Wolffs***

Received menu in the mail and was excited to order a cheesesteak Stromboli with sauce on the side. The girl who answered the phone immediately put me on hold for at least 5 minutes and when returned was confused. Any how when I picked up the box it didn’t feel like anything was in there. When I opened the box the Stromboli was about 3 inches wide and 16 inches long and hardly any meat or cheese and No sauce. The choice of 2 ltr sodas was orange only. I can see now why I received the menu in the mail. Was really looking forward to the Stromboli as it was a treat for the week. Menu said $17 and was charged $20. Needless to say first and last time. 5/26/23
