I have fallen in love with this sweet spot. The food, atmosphere, and service are the best around. I loved the experience so much that I returned the next day, and everything was spot on again. The waitresses are all kind, pleasant, and polite, delivering excellent customer service all around. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, or where you come from. They welcome everyone who walks through the door, and it reminds me of all the southern spots I have frequented, but up north. What a treasure. The food is fantastic. I had an egg white omelet with American cheese and sausage, home fries, and wheat toast. My son had the strawberry shortcake pancakes. The portion sizes were extra large. Definitely a lot of bang for your hard earned buck. I invited my friend and her boys to return with us the next day. Same stellar service and phenomenal food. My second time, I had a cheese omelet with home fries and wheat toast. I am an omelet girl, and they are super tasty at this quaint spot. My son had cinnamon bun pancakes with bacon. He raved about how good they were. My girlfriend opted for eggs benedict with poutine home fries, and her boys shared the strawberry shortcake pancakes. I will be returning again and again and again. This spot is seasonal, and it is definitely worth trying if ever in the Alexandria Bay area. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. I do believe doors are locked at 1400. Keep up the sensational work, ladies.

Food was way over priced for what we got served..first time being there… will never go again and I don’t even recommend it..that’s how bad it was ..35.00 for 2 breakfast and a coffee and a cup of juice

Service was extremely quick, but 2 out of the 6 orders in my party were incorrect. Nothing too egregious, just an incorrectly cooked egg and forgot the spinach on a Benedict Florentine. We only got one refill as a table(coffee) which we had to ask for a couple of times, and the rest of the table got nothing in the way of drink refills. As for food quality, my plate was bad. Maybe it was just me, the rest of my table liked their orders, but for my order, my home fries were undercooked, the bacon was very cold, and the pancake was super dry and dense(powdered sugar was a nice touch though). As for the waitstaff and atmosphere, very nice people with a very comfortable dining area.

This is a very nice place to go eat. Keep in mind it is very loud in here. The sausage and gravy was excellent, the sausage gravy was homemade. The toast is regular bread toast so it’s not very big slice wise. The eggs Benedict is simply two eggs kind of poached on a homemade English muffin portion size it seems to be small. We had several cups of coffee and the consistency was off so it seems as though the coffee was being made different each time. For the amount of food that you get this place is somewhat pricey.

Upon decent into the grand entry way we knew right away that they weren’t holding back any amount of wolf. Loaded. Packed to the brim with wolf. We stumbled aimless through the tables before hearing the call of from our waitress; “How many?”. We sat, we ate, we conquered.

First time eating there was recommended by several people, and it did not disappoint everything was fantastic, perfectly cooked, delicious, full of flavor the only complaint and I know this is gonna sound ridiculous was that my country steak was so freaking hot, I had to wait ten minutes to eat it. No, that’s not a bad thing, but damn. It was hot, but it was absolutely delicious

Their food is fresh and tasty. I love going here for breakfast. Has a comfortable “homey” feel to it. A great place to eat and relax or sit by the counter and order a fresh cup of coffee.

Great little diner with perfect diner breakfast food. Everything is always excellent no matter what we have. Could be very busy weekend mornings in summer.
