We came all the way from Brazil to try it! It’s incredible.. super juicy, tasteful. I miss it already! I asked for the pulled pork sandwich and the amount of food was not disappointing.. the sandwich is huge! i could not finish my fries!

This is the best BBQ I have had anywhere in New England. Everything i go the food is cooked to perfection and tasts delicious. This is a stationery food truck but the do offer picnic tables with umbrellas if you would like to eat there.

Driving to a nearby state park for a hike, we noticed a smoke stream rising from the side of the road and the food truck beside the smoker, we knew instantly where our post-hike lunch would be.
It’s basic but good, with the meats being smoked on-site.
Most folks seemed to eat in their vehicles despite the beautiful sunny fall weather.
We sat at one of the many picnic tables and raised the umbrella up.
The BBQ is first rate stuff and plentiful. Wife enjoyed the brisket sandwich and I the pork.
The fries are good as well. Definitely a fitting refresh after the hike.
If you don’t mind the side of the road dining you will enjoy this place.

This BBQ is fantastic! I love that they put the outside pieces of the pork in the beans… which adds so much flavor and keeps the hard chunks out of your sandwich. The beans are one of my favorite menu items. Their BBQ is so good, we buy it from them by the jar! It’s a sweet and smoky sauce. The pulled pork quesadilla is so amazing, good for kids and adults! You can see the bag of potatoes sitting on counter and hear it when they dice them into fries. AMAZING! I got the brisket today for the first time (because I’m addicted to their pulled pork so I have not gotten the brisket before) and it was tender and thick cut like it should be! Generous portions and genuinely good food! There are other BBQ places around the Upper Valley area but none of them compare to Two Neanderthals. Even the cole slaw is the right flavor and consistency – nothing weird like you sometimes get from places trying to recreate the wheel. If you haven’t been- GO!

Run or drive to this amazing BBQ shack for the best brisket sandwich North of Texas. Slabs of tender, smoked meat (at least 1/3 pound) with homemade barbeque sauce fill an oversized, grilled bun is a STEAL at $11 with only $1 more for fries or a name-brand can of soda.
Round tables adjacent to River Road provide a perfect stop for a perfect meal Wed-Sun from 10:30am until they run out, usually 2:30-4:00. Pulled pork, bbq beans, coleslaw, burgers and more. Just… GO!

Best BBQ around no other bbq that I’ve had can relate to this place I usually get the saras special (melt in your mouth brisket with there homemade BBQ sauce over homemade fries) or the bam bam ( again melt in your mouth brisket and pulled pork with there homemade BBQ sauce over homemade fries) soooooooo good recommend those two I mentioned above but it’s all going to taste amazing no doubt about that

Went out of the way to go there during work. Was NOT disappointed!
Had the brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries. 10/10 recommend and will get again. Brisket and sauce was amazing, fries were wildly addictive and the bun for the sandwich was perfection.
Literally my only complaint is that it’s not near where I live, so I can’t have it more often.
