It’s our first time in this restaurant recommended by a co-worker of mine. My husband and I both love it. He had the deep-fried alligator, which he says is really good. I’ll take his word for it since my husband is a very good cook as well. I had the crab cakes and sautéed calamari. I would highly recommend this place. They have outdoor seating available as well.

Overall good experience. The service was on point and the apps and cocktails were fantastic. I ordered a ribeye which was perfectly cooked but had a lot (and I mean a lot) of fat on it.

The food here has historically been amazing. Truly a diamond in the rough in this area. The last two times I’ve been here I’ve been quite disappointed in what I’ve ordered. Last time I was there I got the 10 oz fillet. I asked for it medium rare and it came out well done. My brussel sprouts tasted like they had been boiled and under seasoned more than anything else. I think my biggest surprise was that my server didn’t ask me to cut into my steak had she I would have probably ordered a different one but she never asked and I didn’t feel like watching my date eat her food while I waited for mine. Overall, the atmosphere and the staff is really amazing. The food has just been a total missed the last few times. Looking forward to when it gets back to its old self.

When I was looking at hotels, I noticed this restaurant was next to one in downtown Chippewa Falls, and I had to give it a try based on the reviews and the menu. Too bad they ran out of the featured blackened swordfish, but they did have an amazing Ribeye, along with awesome sides. I really enjoyed the crust and flavor of the ribeye, and the garlic potatoes and Brussel sprouts complimented the meal so well. The carrot cake for dessert was incredible, and the roasted candied pecans were a great touch!

Not worth your time or money. If you want a decent steak then do not come here. I purchased the 85 day aged ribeye, cooked to the “cooks recommendation“ and it came out medium and dry. The worst way to spend $100 on a steak. At least the staff were friendly, but it might have been the place was nearly empty during a typical dining hour. Cocktails were unremarkable yet as expensive as you would find in a major city. Crab cakes were decent. Mushroom risotto was fine. Decor inside was bland and generic. I was excited to visit this place initially, but after visiting here I will never go again.

This was one of the best midwestern dining experiences I have ever had. I didn’t have super high expectations for a small town steakhouse & I was clearly underestimating this place.

Casual fine dining. We have eaten here twice and both times were very good. Food quality is great! My steaks were done perfectly both times ( ribeye’s MR ). Wife has had seafood and chicken, both excellent.
